Did you not pick-up Half 2: The Orange box for PS3?

If so why? I'll tell you my reasons:

After Madden I refuse to pay for inferior ports with frame problems.

There were other games out that had no such problems-Uncharted, R&C-and there are games coming out very soon-DMC4, Burnout-that are worth saving good money for.

I never played any of the original half life's (yeah yeah, the hole I've been living under is called the U.S. Army) so I don't know what I'm missing.

dude wow....half life 2 practically rewrote fps' and all fps' now rip from it very literally interms of gameplay elements. oh and the storyline is truly epic compared to anything out there.....like....i cant even think of a gamewith a story better than hl2s

I didn't get it, because to me: it's another shooter, I'm not familiar with the series, and Unreal Tournament III (which is also another shooter, but I'm also afan of that series) came out on the same day for the PS3. To be honest, UT3 was one of the games I was anticipating for the PS3 since I got the console for my birthday back in March.

I have to be honest. I haven't noticed a frame drop in either Madden or Orange Box. I know they exist because I read about it, but I haven't noticed. And Orange Box is a great deal.

I got it for $25 on PC from Bestbuy.com on black friday lol. I usually get my FPS's on PC if possible and if my rig can run it on high settings lol.CJL182

I bought it for a friend for the same price :) OB is so great :D I also go for FPSs on the PC first, and console second.

The game itself is actually kind of disappointing...i mean, you just sort of shoot people, and maybe solve a puzzle, but thats it....

I never played a half life game before I got the orange box for ps3 and I like you didnt want to pick it up because of all this bad port talks, but went ahead anyway as ive played all the games I wanted to play at the time and wow I was suprised one way to put it is, it's the final fantasy of FPS it made all other FPS look average and that is coming off playing halo3 and cod4.

Half life 2 is the best FPS I have ever played and frame rate issues or not (there isnt much) this game is a must own.

I don't understand why you would rely completely on reviews and reports about game quality. I understand that certain games don't interest people. Fighter games bore me, for instance. But not trying a game because some idiot reviewer said it wasn't worth it seems odd.

I have Orange Box for PS3, I face no framerate issues. The graphics and online are great. Portal is a great addition and is pretty addictive and funny. It is worth $60 and I really think there is no lag if you have a good connection. One problem- Too many noobs on Team Fortress. For Example- A spy transforms in front of my face (very dumb)
