I was a HUGE fan of digger back in the 80s. My IBM compatible got quite the workout running that little game and our household was one of those with the ever essential notepad beside the PC with family scores written down! :)

I noticed that they've remade it and have it up for sale on PSN! I was wondering, has anyone bought it and, is it worth it? $17AU is quite a high price for a remake of a simple arcade game IMO.

I know they've added multiplayer, trophies, graphics and modes but... it's quite a high price for nostalgia!

This should be asked in the recommendation thread but I will have to say that this game is totally worth it. You get both versions of the game, the hd version and the old school version. If I remember correctly, there are 4 different modes which are all fun to play. The game is a lot of fun and should last you about 10 hours or so if you play all the game modes.

Ha what a rip. Serious it was a fun game but its like pacman. I would never pay more than 5 bucks for one of these remakes. Joe Danger, Death SPank they are worth 20 bucks (or close to) but this one is not even in that league right ?

@Bennobee - That's sor of what I was thinking. $10 is probably my price bracket for it so I might just wait for a price drop... maybe? When you look at the cost of Joe Danger and Deathspank, you're right. A repeating arcade title probably doesn't match up

Well I think the most important question with you is does it have much in the way of trophies (ie bang for your back in that manner as well). We know you love those suckers.

I like trophies but I wouldn't buy a game specifically for trophies :) I prefer games that give plats anyway :D
