Nothing yet.. but a much, much better racing game is coming out this fall.. so don't worry about it, it'll cover pretty much everything you can think of..
GT5 is going to have rally cars? Like with Pastrana, Block, Mirra etc?

it did? I havn't really played any of the GT games for PS2. But thats awesome! I was going to get GT5 anyway, just because of the NASCAR, but rally cars is even better!

it is really good. Offline career is fun. Online can be fun, if you get in a lobby without little kids. They just try to crash you off the start. But I think it is a really good game. One of the better racing games imo.
Gran Turismo series has always had some rally tracks, but I'd still want to get Dirt 3 if I was a fan of the X-Games style rally cross races (heck Dirt 2 even had X-games sponsorship inside the game, so Dirt 3 probably will too...) Dirt 2 also had a nice variety between the "rally cross" type races, and then the stage rallies (as well as some offroad truck racing which Gran Turismo probably won't have). Also another game, World Championship Rally should be making an appearance soon. WIth the WRC license that should be more in the vein of hardcore stage rally racing than the X-Games.
i'm not a great big fan of dirt to be honest, i prefer the older rally games where you race through a few stages in each county and work through to try adn win the championship, the shorter sprint type racing in dirt doesnt apeal to me much.
i'm eagerly awaiting gran turismo 5 however, always been a massive fan of them, i've spent countless hours just doing time trials trying to improve my lap times by that smallest of margins, and the endurance races are great for me, love it, almost considered getting an X-BOX 360 just for forza to get a bit of a racing game fix wihle i'm waiting.

dirt 3 is announced and i am definitely going to buy it, since i love the whole collin mcrae series and played every one of it, however gt5 has the official wrc licence and it is a simulation, dirt or the collin mcrae series is something inbetween simulation and arcade but quite fun nevertheless... :)
the only complaint I had with Dirt 2 was the lack of a split-screen mode. I don't enjoy playing racing games online, but really like to play with my friends in the same room. This feature would prevent me from buying Dirt 3
