I loved both... They are both addictive and fun, but I enjoyed Jeanne D'Arc more.

Disgaea. It has a crazy story, lets you level waaaaay over 100, and has some interesting strategic elements. It's multiple endings and ability to open portals to other dimensions (optional side quests) also adds a ton of replay value.

Well I have played only Jeanne and it rocks! Great story and good difficulty(just dont power lever your chars in free battles). If you play on playing alot over a short period just rent it. I found it that I play bout 3-4 hours aday and beat it in near a week(I may have plaed more than that but I cant tell cause I left my PSP on and the timing on the saves are all messed up.) Also just rent both and then pick what one you like best.

Just like practically everyone else is saying, get both! They both offer completely different experiences imo.

Disgaea is something you have to find on Bestbuy or Ebay or Amazon. Bestbuy and Amazon Store have it backordered. Ebay is about 10 or 20 dollars more than list price.

But it is worth either the wait or the extra cash.

If you weren't a hardcore SRPG fan, I would highly recommend Jeane D'Arc over Disgaea... but Jeane D'Arc is extremely easy... especially if you like to level up. (Though the story is really entertaining.)

Anyways, I highly recommend you get both when you can afford them. I also heard that Wild Arms XF is not too bad, if you can get past a sloppily put together story and a few quirks.
