Disgusting prices on the PSN...

Was just looking on the PSN and pre orders for games like army of two 3 and tiger woods 14 are £60. 60 f****** pounds. In todays climate that translates to $91...

The equivelant of $91 USD for one game. This is just disgusting and the people at PSN need to have a long hard look at themselves.

and considering new release games in shops are £30 to £40 its a joke. I bought tomb raider on release day from my local shop for £30 brand new.

I belive they have been told if they sell games on PSN for the same or less than the price you can buy in a store then the big stores will not stock that game.

Surely that doesnt justify the £60 price tag when it will be around £35 in stores...? Just put it at around £5 more than the retail price...

The digital download prices for PS Store games is a complete and utter joke.   Way to scare away the consumor.    If everything goes digital one day, I hope to god these prices improve.   Steam doesn't stoop this low as to overprice games like this, I don't see why Sony should do it.  Do people really buy these games at the ridiculous prices?  It's a shame because I really do want to go digital having 1TB harddrive and all.   If streamed games for the Gaikai service on PS4 are you going to be priced at £50-£60,  I might just avoid that entire feature all together.

This is why digital is a bad idea and if gaming gets to a point where it'l be digital only, everything will cost more than it's worth because there won't be anywhere else to buy it other than directly from the source and once one company with a major franchise decides to jack up the price, others will follow. Pay $99 or don't play at all. 

I don't think the US PS Store has this same problem?  Does it?   Their games get priced at $60 which is the norm for games prices over there am I right?   Only the EU is getting screwed over on this one.  Still pretty disgusting.

PSN pricing is comletely laughable.  Why should I pay the same price for a digital copy that limits where I can play and takes away ownership when I can go to a local store and get a hard copy, with a case and a booklet?  Wasn't digital supposed to bring consumers all these savings?

Even worse is the lack of discounts for PS+.  EVERY item should e discounted for + members.

yeah it's pretty well known now that PSN is notorious for having ridiculously overpriced digital games. i've seen games that are literally double the price on psn than at EB games or something.

LOL, take your Tiger Woods price and double it - half that game is sold via DLC.
