Dissidia sequel coming 2011: UPDATE - New Screens LIGHTNING!!!

Duodecim will add new characters, new maps, new BGM, and new battle system elements to the Final Fantasy crossover fight. A whole lot of new features, to be sure, but we only know of two specifics: playable Lightning (from FFXIII) and playable Kain (from FFIV). Square Enix assures that there will be more new characters than just these two.

Dissidia 2 was just revealed in Jump. It'll probably be at TGS later this month!

Wow, so soon. We just got the first one!

The original Dissidia was pretty good, so I'll be looking forward to this one. I'm also excited about playing as Lightning. She's cool.

I expected Lighting andKain to beamong the first to be confirmed. But i am also hoping for Auron and Yuffie.

I was hoping to see Sazhs in Dissidia pt.2. He was the only character from FFXIII that I liked.

Loved the first, will definitely love the sequel.

I love Final fantasy well till it came to PS3, But I thought Disidia was terrible I was really looking forward to it, but now they're adding FFXIII cast now =[ I hate lightning

Dissidia was a great handheld brawler, but I hope they add more variety to the sequel. Getting into air matches with your opponent and constantly dodging his blow with timed presses gets annoying, because you end up in a near infinite loop..

I highly doubt it will be the same. Story is one of Squares strong points, while Dissidia may not have had an impressive one, I'm sure they will put some effort for every game in the series. including the story.

they should put vaan in this one as well

I like the original dissidia and atlest lightning is one of the few likable characters in XIII so I can approve it^^
