DLC trophy question

I've been playing Prince of persia and got a majority of the trophies. Then I brought the DLC and got some trohpies for the DLC. So I was wondering if I just got the regular trophies would I still need the DLC trophies to get the Platinum? Is it like this for all games that have DLC?

no, the base game gives you the plat.

DLC won't matter. I have plenty of platinum trophies that are less than 100%

Yup, as everyone else here has said...you only need the base trophies from the game for a Platinum. After the DLC trophies were added, my Fallout 3 percentage has fallen (bad pun) from 100% to 54%. Needless to say, I still have my Platinum.:D
