DMC4/AC or DMC4/Folklore or AC/Folklore or DMC4 CE

I am really tired of these types of threads but here it goes anyway.

Right now there is a sale at Best Buy for Assassin's Creed and Folklore which are both only $39.99. I was planning on buying DMC4 but then this sale came along so I figured I would buy Assassin's Creed. But then I have been hearing good things about Folklore so I am not sure what to buy. Oh, I also have a $10 coupon for Best Buy if you buy at least $75 worth of gaming stuff.

So, what would you guys get?

I bought Assassins Creed when it was released and I loved it but it was too short. I would suggest rent it ( if you have that much time to play it and beat it in a rental time about 10 hours)

I was in a similar situation with DMC4 vs Folklore, and wanted to just get both but don't have the time to split between both. So I went with Devil May Cry 4 and love it.

If I were you I would rent Assassins Creed, and buy Devil May Cry and Folklore

I'd say DMC4 and Folklore... I own AC and it's a good game but it's not for everybody.GreenGoblin2099

AC is definitely worth a rent but that is about it. Folklore is a very underrated game I thought the way the folks were used worked out really well.

I'd say DMC4 and Assasin's Creed. Folklore is a decent RPG, but its pretty repetitive.

Dont' waste money on the DMC4 CE however, the extras aren't worth it.

I've got them all, and they're all worthwhile purchases. You might as well get AC and Folklore now, since they're cheaper, and wait on DMC4. Insideous_rex

If you can't wait for DMC4 I'd go with DMC4 & Folklore

Get DMC4 and Assassin's Creed if you like stealthy games, or DMC4 and Folklore if you like Action/RPGs. I have all three and they all are great games. Oh yes, and don't bother with DMC4: CE, the extra stuff is already on the internet to watch/listen for free probably...:PKamuiFei

That's my problem. I like both types of games. I almost definitely want DMC4 eventhough I have never played one before but I love the God of War series which is kind of in the same genre (beatem up type). I also loved the demo. I am downloading the Folklore demo as we speak.

Oh, BTW I don't rent games so that's out.

Im going to pick the probaly not popular choice and say DMC 4 Collectors Edition for a few reasons:

1. the Box is extremely sexy.

2. the Anime it Comes with (Devil May Cry Vol. 1) is Extremely Underrated.

3. I really like the songs they have from the soundtrack (5 in total) and the Behind the scenes looks. alos, they have Chat Avatars and Wallpapers for your PC.

Get DMC 4 and Folklore. Even though AC is great, DMC 4 is just the best action game out there and FOlklore is one game no one should miss... its quite unconventional in terms of gameplay, story and the overall look.

In some ways it is to PS3 what Okami was to PS2. Plus if you dont rush it you can get 20+ hours in the first playthrough itself

Thats crazy best buy mustve just just put that sale up. I know target has folklore on sale for 24 dollars and some change but AC and Folklore I might jump on that IF my best buy has the same sale which it should..................jrocksreturn

Does Target still have it on sale for $24? It says it's $59.99 on their website and it's not in the new sales paper.

I bought the collector's edition so that someone else could pick up the regular version :( Waste of 20 bucks, but the anime is good and the case is cool, so whatevs :D

Only 4 eps, but sure, that's a reasonable price for anime nowadays. I'm on the 3rd ep, will watch the rest soon :)

Well I live in Texas I guess it matters cause here they have it for 24 bucks and rainbow six for 39 bucks but im still gonna check out best buy tomorrow ....................if not target is where im going
