Do any of you play ps1 games on your ps3?

Im playing through Resident evil:Directors cut and other than the terrible blocky graphics,im pretty impressed with how well its aged. In fact im thinking of playing through 2 and also nemesis again once ive finished.

Ive also bought various ps1 titles that were my favorate when i first got my ps1 ten years ago.

Not at the moment, but when I finish Final Fantasy XII, I plan on playing either FFVIII or FFIX.

I dabble with PS2, but no i havnt played a PS1 game yet.

However i might get the complete Metal Gear saga, which would be cool :)

Who did you play as, and what difficulty did you play on? I ask because I recently played that same game on my 60-GB PS3 as both Jill and Chris, but I encountered a weird glitch when I played as Jill on 'normal' difficulty. Towards the end of the game, when Jill is about to enter the lab, the cut-scene turned into an odd loop: a certain animation would go, then the characters would freeze, but the dialogue would continue. The scene would gradually progress by each animation; however, what made it really strange was that sometimes the dialogue/sounds did not match the cut-scene (and occasionally were not even in Jill's scenario). Did you happen to run into this? Or did anyone else?

To answer the main question of the thread, yes, I play all my PS2 and PS games on my PS3--just recently completed Metal Gear Solid again.

Im playing as chris on my uk pal 60gb,im about 2/3 of the way through but i havent encountered anything like that,but then again im not at the lab yet.

MGS, Jumping Flash, Cool Boarders, Twisted Metal 2, Caslevania: SOTN, Hot Shots Golf 2 to name a few.

hell yeeeaaa i do... Crash Bandicoot, plus MGS 1 the original best playstation game, i mean wat else is there?? hahaa nah ima big ass MGS fan tho, and Crash Bandicoot goes 2....iono about Spyro tho, thas a mayb...!!! crash team racing tooo shiiit

Yeah sometimes the last game I played was driver 1 which was a good game...
