Yes, they are mini-discs. But early minidiscs all have covers, as they come in catridges. The Gamecube Mini-Disc is 8cm in size, whereas the UMD is only 3cm. The UMD is a funny invention with a name that doesn't make sense, that's why...

No. Didn't your PSP come with a instruction manual?mralspspDoes anybody read those things :D This confused me at first and I'm an electronics engineer lol :D
