Yes, the PSP has a standard headphone jack. You can use any standard headphones, including iPod headphones.

Yes, they work. Though after having thoroughly burnt out my i-pod headphones in regular use, I'd suggest looking for a better pair in general.

On a side note, I miss the early PSP's having a volume control on their headphones cord. T_T

One of my favorite things about the PSPGo is the bluetooth support. It's really nice to drop it in a jacket pocket and have control of audio tracks and volume via the controls on my headphones :)

I'm not sure I can get past the no-cartrage thing with the Go. That and it seems a bit light/flimsy in my hands; that might not be an accurate assessment of it's durability, but I miss my PSP1000.

Any headphones that come with an mp3 player won't sound good.

I agree. The iPod headphones are terrible. I've had 3 different pairs (each one when I bought a new iPod) and they all broke within 8 months of purchase. The current pair I use has only one working earpiece. Sidenote: I am careful and responsible with my electronics, that isn't why they broke.
