I miss it. I think it adds an important level of gamer interaction to the game. I'm looking forward to getting it back!

I do a little, but I mostly miss the feel of a heavier controller in my grip. :)

I could careless. I always turned it off for FPS games since it screwed up my aiming in heavy gun fights.

Until I started using the Dualshock 3 I would have said "I couldn't care less about rumble" _but_ for me the fact is once I used a controller with rumble again I really started to notice what it adds to games. RUMBLE ROCKS!

I don't really mind if there is or not. People are making a bigger deal out of this than it should be.

Indifferent for me. Not having or having was almost the same. But I usually turn it on.

Same here, my Dual Shock 2 rumble was always broken.

I went out and bought a Dual Shock 3 off ebay, rmble is a nice touch, but not that big of a deal. I just LOVE that it's white

I didnt think I missed it at all until I picked up Motorstorm. When you land after a jump and it doesnt rumble it feels like something is missing. Not a big enough deal that I would pick up a new controller though.

I think it is a big deal. Just ask Hideo Kojima. Try using the AP Sensor in Metal Gear Solid 2 without rumble...oh, that's right, you can't. It certainly adds a lot to games. Think of Silent Hill 2: when your health was low, the controller would rumble more and more, making life seem more urgent in the game. There are tons of examples I could give, but mainly rumble just adds to the "total immersion" factor that all developers aim for.

Nope, because I already have my DS3! It's much better than the original sixaxis.

That and I hate light controllers. It's why I don't own a PS3 yet... I'm waiting for a DS3-pack-in so I never have to deal with the SIXAXIS.

Looks like you won't be owning a PS3 anytime soon (maybe GT5:P?)...too bad. You know you can buy them seperately right? Seems like a silly reason not to buy the system.

EDIT: And I missed it enough to import, just the weight alone makes it worthwhile.

if people had dealt without rumble for a year, then why do they need it now? to be honest, i never used to pay much attention to rumble on ps2. in fact, i never even used to feel it since i got so used to it being there. its not really a big deal. Also, NO WAY am i going to pay an extra 10 pounds (in the UK) for added rumble. the motor iself costs probably 2 pound per each controller. rumble.....oooooh.

I play all kinds of games on all kinds of systems and I can honestly say rumble or lack thereof hasn't really changed my level of immersion these days. Sometimes it's annoying and overdone, and other times it's barely noticeable--rarely was it ever just right and very rarely has it ever enhanced a game to the point where not having it made a significant impact to me. Since I already have a PS3 and generally play games alone in my household, I doubt very seriously that I'm going to shell out the money for a DS3 when it becomes available...the Sixaxis works just fine for me. Of course, if Sony offered some sort of incentive to go out and buy one, some kind of half-price deal or if they pack one with a new game (like Nintendo did with Wii Play), then I could be convinced.
