I've only just started playing online, but I don't have or want a headset, and don;t know anyone who has one. Perhaps because of this I haven't known of anyone trying to talk to me, but that might just be because no one has one.
yeah there are a few online PSP games that use the mic w/headset for voice chat. So far Socom FTB 1 and 2, Killzone Liberation, Syphon Filter Dark Mirror, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I really hope more online games will support this feature in the future!
I was playing Killzone online, and I didn't reallize how amazing it was. Really fun online. Any good recomendations on a headset with a microphone for this? I keep looking at the game stores, but I am finding nothing.
I have a headset and it works great! I use it for Socom and Syphon. Apparently upcoming(some of them) titles like Syphon filter Logans Shadow, Star Wars Renegade Squadron, Socom tactical strike and Medal of honor hereos 2 will have a headset feature;)
I used to have one, but not enough games actually take advantage of it. MOH would have been perfect. I lost it, but It's basically a regular headphone, with a ridiculously bendable plastic cord and mic at the end. It doesn't take up more than a square inch of space if you roll it up, so it's pretty small and portable.
Football with headsets rule! I was talking trash once with :10 seconds to go in the game up by 5. He threw a pass, broke a tackle and then juked my saftey and took it 90+ yards on me for the win. It was one of my greatest gaming experiences even though I lost.
