Do u need an HD box to play PS3 games in HD?

Do u need an HD box for your tv to play games in HD or does your TV just have to be able to have tv. My TV is an HD tv but i dont have an HD box.wiidog

If your tv has the hook ups (component or HDMI) you are good to go for HD gaming- no extra box required.

Alright cool cause i wasnt sure because right now i cant watch HD at all but it is capible of HD.wiidog

just because a tv has component inputs, it doesnt mean your tv is HD.

If you have a HDTV and still using standard service from your cable or sattelite service then your not getting any use out of your purchase of the HDTV. All you need to do is have your service upgrade to HD. The HD box is only needed for TV programs.
