Ok before you flame me just here me out first.
I don't know about you but the best thing about my Ps3 was that I did not have to worry about going into an on-line match and here some immature, cocky, knowitall, who plays games to release their inner Internet thug, call me names cause their parents doesn't love them. I loved the fact that most people who owned a PS3 were laid back people who just played games for fun and did not care about achievements and all that garbage...
I mean yeah there are those types of A-holes everywhere but ever since the release of GTA and MGS4 there has been a huge increase in noob chants.
Sure I know that more people brings better games but we also have to face the reality that it also brings those A-holes who try their best to ruin ur gaming experience.
All I am saying is that I miss some of the good ol days when I played Vegas 1 and 2 with some grown people that play after they get off of work and have a wife and kids... Which is great because those conversations usually expand more on politics, business and life in general... rather than hearing someone call you a cheater, hear someone complain, or see people unplug the cord cause they are loosing.
I mean If I get flammed for this so be it but I sometimes wish we could have both... but life isnt fair huh?

Man, I was hearing that stuff in RFOM back when the PS3 was "unpopular". Actually, that's the most worst I've ever heard in my life. About 10 years of my life, I've been playing online. Even back in the dial up days of Doom and Duke Nukem 3D. Close to 10 rooms on that list, about 30-40 players active. That's ALL I've heard. The best times is when you get into a Beta. Much more quiet and full of great players who don't give you a problem. I also see it like this. They're dumb people. Dumb people like simple, mainstream games. So where would you see these people populate? Not games like GRAW2 or Socom. Games like RFOM, Halo, Warhawk, COD4, Unreal. The simple games that don't require tactics or strategy, or thinking for that matter. They just run, shoot, die, respawn. Games like Socom, require some brain power cause once you die, you're dead for the rest of the round. It's weeds out people like this. Also, if you really do enjoy those games like Warhawk or RFOM, then I suggest you get yourself some online friends that play the same games you play and just only play eachother. I did that for a while myself. All the people I've played with, I've been playing with since the Socom 2 Beta. Though maybe one or two of them are idiots, the rest of the guys I play with aren't bad. I chose that route, cause I hate idiots who think they're tough only behind a mic, nice and safe in their mommy's basement. That's pretty much about 89% of the players online. I come across a few good guys sometimes. But that's about a 1 in a 100 ratio.
