Do you add people you dont know?

I got a couple friend request from people I didnt know and I was about to add them and my gf said I shouldnt...not sure why?

So do you guys add people you dont know?

Sure, I add anyone who sends me an invite since I don't get that many.

You can never have too many PSN friends. It's good to have a pool to choose from for co-op gameplay.

I seem to randomly get new friends when I play MvC3 online due to the whole "girl" thing.:lol:

I've mistakenly added people I don't know by mispelling friend's PSN IDs, but they add me anyway so there are people out there who do it :P

I, however, never play online so I don't receive invites (but if I did I would probably ignore them (just like on Gamespot :shock: ))

I used to add people that I don't know, mainly because they're good players but that was like way back on the original xbox. Back then there weren't a lot of people playing online but today most of your friends or people that you met outside got either a 360 or PS3 so NO I dont add people that I don't know unless they're really friendly online.

Depends on how often we play together.

I get a friend request everytime I play Tekken, but I got to start being more selective since I don't have a lot of psn friends who I can have decent conversations with.

at this point, i have no need to add random ppl anymore since i'm almost at the max 100 people you can add, so i'm getting picky on who i want to add now

It depends. If it's someone completely random with a blank message, then no. If it's someone I met playing online, then yeah. For example, if I play an online game of Crash Commando and one of my teammates sends me a request, then I'll most likely add them.

actually I don't play online much so I don't have any friend I don't know in real life. But hey I like gaining trophy levels (I got my PS3 on January so it's still low) so if anyone reads this and wants to add me, feel free to do it. I think that answers the topic question xd

I don't like to all the time, but some I do, like if I was playingUncharted 2 or something and they were a good team mate and someone I could play Uncharted with next time, or stuff like that, when I get random ones though, I add one, and the guy wouldn't shut up and kept messaging me, rather annoying

Sometimes I add randoms but if they start acting weird I pull the plug on them(delete) with NO hesitation!!

Only if I'm boosting a trophy.

Edit: Just PLayed CoD:WaW and met a cool guy, added him and now were cool. Prooving my point.

I don't tend too just because the majority of players online are either terrible or just trolls. However I once played a round of battlefield with this guy and he was an amazing squadmate, so I added him. Turns out he also owned Demons Souls so we started playing that together too, and then AVP. Haha we play together just as often as my pals IRL now. Jerryismyname

Finding a cool random israre but it's always great to hear because of all of the A-hole out there.:)

I sometimes add people from here, I also add people I meet in games randomly, if they were really good, they have a lot of trophies, etc.

I don't add randoms... unless I recognize the username or if they specify in the friend's request that they're from gamespot/other forum and I've talked to them before.

I add people I don't know when I'm playing with friends and they invite people from their friends lists.

I add someone who covers my ass.If he doesn't , dont add him.If he adds you , add him.
