I was wondering if anyone actually enjoys using the sixaxis controlls in games, and in which games particular?

For me I can't stand games that use is as the controlls for moving about, I hate moving my wrists about and I can't find a comfortable position where I don't feel I'm going to get RSI if I play for more than 45minutes.
The only position I can stand is with my elbows locked and i just waggle my arms about like a lepper wanting a hug.

Games that have used it as a little gimmick, that isn't a fundamental piece of the game, or isn't use a lot are the games that use it best.
Resistance, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and Folklore are the only games that I can stand using the motion sensing.

I think the problem is to do with the amount you have to turn the controller, if I'm playing something like MotorStorm or Toy Home, I find myself turning the controller 45 degrees just to try and get that little bit of cornering out of my vehicle.
Also I find I have to move it too fast if I'm trying to steer myself around something.

The motion sensing controlls in the SixaxiS needs to be a gentle, soft, gradual movement, and in my opinion the ONLY game that has used the motion sensing controlls succesfully is flOw, even the fast movents from left to right in Folklore, the fishing like pull when catching a folk, or even the violent shakes in resistance to stop yourself burning are something I'd rather do without.

Maybe the dual shock controlelr simply isn't comfortable enough to have these motion sensing controlls, I imagine this is the main reason why Sony was thinking of using the boomerang controller.

Wow, that turned out to be pretty long, I'd love to hear your opinions on the motion sensing controlls, maybe I'm alone in my thinking and my wrists are just genereally broken.

i use it when i'm able too. and i freaking love it. i use it for anything i can use it for. it took some time getting used to. but after 30 minutes of motor storm, i've had no problems with controlling any games with the Sixaxis control :)

If done well, infact the only time I've actually liked it in a game is when you have to shake a guy off of you.

It's cool only for things like Folklore where you don't have to aim anything with it. I couldn't really stand it in Heavenly Sword or Warhawk. I'm really good at Lair though, moving the dragon around is really responsive, and it's not really that hard to do 360's or 180's for me.

It's okay I guess. The only game I use it for is shooting free throws in NBA 2K8 (which isn't a big deal). I turned it off in Warhawk. I can live without it. If I wanted physical movement, I would just play the Wii. Chaulk me up as old fashion gamer who uses fingers playing games.

I'm glad Sony added it in there. It just gives the dev's more options for innovative gameplay, like Folklore and Lair.
