Do you have any games that you regret not finishing?

We all have games that we've failed to complete. Maybe those games weren't interesting enough, maybe something new came along, maybe it was too hard, or maybe it was just a bad game all together. Regardless we all have some uncompleted games in our collection.

Do you have any games that you regret not finishing?

The first game that pops into my head would be Ninja Gaiden Sigma. I played it non-stop for a while and really enjoyed it but I never beat it. I got pretty far into it, got stuck and got so frustrated! I refused to drop down to Ninja Dog level so I put it away for a while. I haven't picked it up for months.

Final Fantasy X-2, I wanted to see what battling Vegnagun and Shuyin was all about, but I couldn't take the whole "Charlie's Angels" theme anymore...

Yuna is still hot though :) The things I would do to that chick if she were real... :P

mgs3 ... i think eventually the camouflage system got to me.... just got fed up with it ... to much hard work i do regret it nowsunkcontrol

Same here, I got bored of it after a couple hours, but now I wish I played through it, seeing as I've seen people saying it's their favorite MGS, and number 4 is around the corner...

I have recently been playing the series and I had stopped playing mgs2 because I was irritated on a section. I put it down for a few weeks and then went back to it and it wasn't so bad. You should try again.

To those that haven't finished the mgs games: keep at it, it totally becomes worth it when you see the endings.(especially 3's)

As for myself, two games I haven't finished that I regret not finishing are two shin megami games. Er... one is nocturne and the other is the captain raidou one.

dragon quest - disinterest about 10% done and i dont remember which one it was -_-

legend of dragoon back in the day i played a few minutes of it and i have no idea why i never finished it.

I did the same thing with MGS3. I got so frustrated at one point I put it away for more than a year. I did go back to it eventually and beat it.

For me its the Orange Box. I finished the Half-life games but I havent finished Portal. I got stuck on chamber 15

fire emblem for the gameboy advance it was a friggin awsome game with a great story line but there was this one mission that was just soooo damn hard and i never leveled up my MAsters properly Lyn, Hector and that other guy i forget his name ill try it again in a day or to maybe that ive grown a little ill be able to beat that darn game

BTW if u dont do well at school play the game it will make u smart

Oblivion - Fun and addicting as hell, but the constant spelunking and accessing the plains of oblivion just became boring and repetitive. Exploring and side-quests was the real gold for me. I rented it twice and played way too many hours which is why I chose not to buy it, it would probably eat my life away.Prinze

It's still eating my life away after months of playing. I still haven't beaten the main quest (saving it for last) and I've barely touched shivering Isles. Almost 250 hours of play time at this point.

beyond good and evil i could not get past a sneak part and got sick and tired of not beable to go furth without finding 50 glass ball things.

Project Zero aka Fatal Frame the first game I played it until the end then I run outof picture shots fighting one of the bosses and never went back to it again.

Other than that the game I buy I finish except for racing I had GT3, Burnout and NFP and didn't bother finishing them.

for the PS3 - Ninja gaiden sigma... In the last stage before the final boss... and Uncharted... I stopped playing both of them when I got DMC3 and oblivion. will play them again sometime after i finish GTA4 & MGS4.

For the PS1, chorono cross. I can't seem to beat the last boss (i'm a wuss :lol:) and vagrant story

Last 2 Years I have played and beat over 200 games. No bull. But FF 12. I ownd even, and finally just gave it to somone. But never beat it. Ill re-buy it or somethign latter. Before 13. truenextgen

His name was Eliwood. I played the game in my Science class, and I did pretty good in the class too, lol.

Also with that game. I ended up going so much side quests and extras. I was not even messing with the main quests. So I wasn't getting anywhere. Plus I get tired of teh bare mid evil plains thing over and over. Outside of that their is good their is some cool stuff.

Oh thank god I am not the only one who didnt finish Metal Gear Solid 3. It was just waaaayyy to long and detailed and drawn out. Yeah it is awesome but I just felt bogged down by it all.

I have to admit though, I hardly ever finish any of my games I buy and mostly I just buy them to have them on the shelf. There is nothing worse then 10yrs down the track regreting not getting certain titles and having to break the bank to get them for systems you love. So now I try and buy everything..

Killer 7 I got it about the same time I got my 360 so it got pushed aside. I brought it out a while ago and started playing it again but still dont touch it anymore.

chrono trigger - snes - I bought it when it was new, I played it and loved it just never had the time to complete it. I was almost to the end and ended up never picking it back up. That bothered me for 10 years so i went out and bought it and a super nintendo and finally finished it 10 years later!!!!

Other than that ive beaten every game ive ever played, my son rented smash bros. brawl for Wii and returned it before i could finish it....I had to go buy it just so I didnt have another 10 year letdown lol. (great topic btw)

The other game was MotorStorm, eventually I just had no motive to continue playing it. I hate the soundtrack so much and no muti-player finished it off for me.

Oddly enough, were in that same boat with motostorm. And I have it.

But it does have online. Just not multiplayer. "Some see those as the same thing?"

But I agree,, Reason I have played and beat so many. Is im willing to at least rent anything I hear any word on. And I live like a half a mile from the rental place. So Its a 2 nights a week visit, or after work thing. And Ill beat most of those "bad or good" in one rent. Like now that I heard about Lego Indi. Im gonna go get that, if it out.

But Ive done as bad. I gave away FF7! And I loved it. Just had it for a long while. I still have the demo. Like PS underground 1 or 2?

And I still remember playing that demo for the first time, and saying. "Man this game is gonna blow lol." That was one of the few times:P, I made the wrong guess by a mile!! And like a few months latter, I was glued to the set, playing the game.

GOW2 ... played almost to the end, kinda got boring so i traded it....

Wish i would have finished it, it was a great game
