Just sat there looking at games you cannot be bothered to finish and others you cannot be bothered to start even.

I do.

You are not alone. I have a huge backlog of games that I haven't even touched yet. I buy them and they just sit on my shelf in the wrapper. I don't know. Maybe it's long hours at work or huge amounts of school work I go through in the evening but something just kills my passion for gaming every once in awhile. I find that after a few weeks I come back to it though.

I always get my enthusiasm back eventually.I used to get fed up of gaming and sell my console and games, only to regret it deeply a couple of weeks/months later.

I did after the SNES era. I sold the system and the games. I tried to get into PC gaming, but it was too expensive, and way hard to install DOS games back then. The PS1 brought the love back with FF7. Finally, I was able to enjoy a game with cutting edge graphics. I've been a gaming addict ever since switching between consoles and PC gaming. Really want to get back to PC gaming, but it is freaking expensive.

Yeh that happens a lot, but it's probably because you need a break from games.

Yeah, it happens to me when I get to playing too dang much. Or right after I beat a game I've spent a long time on (Demon's Souls). Right now, however, I'm too pumped to stop! There's so many awesome games coming out right now!!!

Absolutely. Aside from Heavy Rain right now, I'm not really all that keen on the idea of starting anymore games. I just finished Bioshock 2 and Dante's Infenro, and once Heavy Rain has been completed I'll probably give the PS3 a rest for a few weeks and catch up on some films. Hell, maybe I'll even invest some time into studying... -_-'

Yeah, I go through periods where I don't wanna play or have anything to do with gaming. The feeling gradually goes away - especially when a game I had been anticipating before my break is nearing release. ;)

It's either play games or watch TV. Usually 5 minutes of TV is enough to convince me to turn on the PS3. In the past I wasn't too interested in gaming - like with my PS2. I'd buy a game, play through it and have fun with it, but then not buy another game for 6 months. Depends on how much other stuff you've got to do I guess.

I am the same.A couple of minutes of soaps or reality show crap usually sends me back to my PS3.Got a backlog of films to watch so might catch up with them for a while and

cut back on the gaming.

I do this way too often. i buy way more than i can play and just stack up a giant playlist. I bought Bioshock 2 and Star Ocean the day they came out and i just broke the wrap on them last night 2 weeks later. Wife hates it so much but im a freak.

Right now actually, I'm looking at Farcry 2 because I wanted to get 100%..but I'm thinking to myself "I just can't be bothered" - I've got one singleplayer trophy left but around 6-7 multiplayer trophies. :[

I haven't played World of Warcraft for a while. Sometimes I just won't play it for a few weeks because I have no motivation since it's gotten boring after Burning Crusade. Sometimes I'll log on, check my friends list, no one will be online, check my quests and then tell myself that I just don't feel like playing WoW right now and log out. Every so often I will play for an hour or two to level up one of my characters.
