You can turn the PS logo ;)

But yeah horizontals better, some website tested the ps3 to see how hot it got and it was hotter vertical

Yeah, I know that. I'm saying that my PS logo is in the correct position for laying the PS3 horizontal.;)

Vert, so i can line it up with my wii and pc. So far ive noticed no difference in performance whatsoever or heat production.

After witnessing the death of two PS2's in vertical( then have a horizontal last the next 4 years), owning a Wii that sounds like a big rig when its in Vertical, and knowing the fact that the laser assembly takes unnecessary stress when vertical, Horizontal is the only way I would have a console now.

horizontal, but then i put it to vertical and i sat back down and i realized that it was in front of the tv, so now its back to horizontal and it makes me nervous to see it vertical i always think its gonna tip over

Vertical. The PS3 was overheating under the TV stand while in its horizontal position, due to poor ventilation. I took it out of the stand, placed it beside the TV on a separate tabletop, and put it vertically so it has maximum surface exposure to the air. Has never overheated since (by the way, overheating symptoms only appeared when playing DMC4, for some reason or another >.>).

I keep mine horizontal, just because where it is there is a high risk of it tipping over if it was vertical.
