i played 3rd person shooter games like Warhawk or GTA 4. the only first person shooter game i played was the quake wars online demo and it was fun. cant wait till Resistance 2 comes out. :)

It depends on the type of game, but I tend to go for TPS has my choice.

Personally, I'm an avid fan of both FPSs and TPSs but I prefer the third person view.

I prefer third person, but if done right I can like first person too. One example is Star Siege for the PC, I liked it cause it felt more like you were in the huge machines you piloted. But I think being a person in first person view is weird cause then you realize the person moves really weird.

Im not all that big on shooters, but usually whenever i do play a shooter i prefer third person.

I prefer third person. But I still like a lot of 1st person games like Resistance, COD4 and Killzone. When I'm given the choice of what perspective the camera should be at in a game, I'll usually choose 3rd person.

I'm a fan of both but I've got to say I like tps better. Warhawk, Uncharted, Ratchet, MGS etc are my forte, whereas I find fps games are a little harder due to my inexperiene with the genre in relation to the action/adventure games I grew up with, which I find easier to get a handle on.

I prefer TPS way more then FPS, infact I hardly play FPS. Last gen I only played demos of FPS games, I tend to get motion sickness playing them and since I don't play them often I still get them when ever I play a FPS game, I am trying to get into FPS this gen.

i am an avid fan of both, but tbh i love TPS's more just because you get the whole perspective of the environment around you and can keep an eye on ur *** so enemy's dont knive u in the back

depends on the game. I think you can do more with a TPS, but FPS are more intense and it just depends on which game, like i cant imagine CoD as a TPS, or Uncharted as an FPS

For consoles I like 3rd person shooters much better. It just seems like you get a better view of your sorroundings, allowing you to react to things much more effectively. First person shooters on PC allow you to twitch and move quickly, so the limited view doesn't hinder you all that much. With consoles and controllers, though, I just feel like its too tough to effectively react well. For me anyway.

I like 3rd person much more, but 1st person is still fun. I prefer tactical shooters, say like Gears of War, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Uncharted, where you can cover and stuff.

FPS all the way. The only time I like TPS is if it is tactical and I need to see everything around me.

TPS. because most of TPS games include some cool moves and i like to see my character's cool moves

its not fun to not see anything but your dead enemies...

3rd person. First person is my 2nd hatest camera angle (1st is fixed cam). I just don't like it when you can't see your character and I find it really funny that when you look down, you don't see your body. Hehe!

I hope that you could change the cmaera angle in Fallout 3 to 3rd person, just like in Oblivion. I only use first person in Oblvion when in a small area.

Depends on what you're doing in the game, if there's lots of jumping/platforming involved then I prefer TPS but for pretty much everything else I like FPS better.

I get more fun from TPS, mostly because it allows more kinds of moves than FPS and it serves for a more tactical approach to battle. FPS are, mostly, about mindless shooting. I like them, specially on the PC and on multiplayer mode, but I've never found much depth in that kind of gameplay.
