I was going to pre-order tomorrow but I am not sure because the price will eventually go down and a new version like the slimline will come out. Your thoughts please.
Well the Ps3 doesn't even have a confirmed release date and the SlimLine Ps2 came out near the end of the consoles life, if you wan't to put it like that.
Get a PS3 and a REV... you won't be missing much (if anything) by having these 2 systems... If you're gonna wait for a price drop, fine... but with Sony losing so much money, don't expect one for a few years unless you buy a used one (that's probably broke). Go ahead and get the REV either way, but definantly get a PS3 soon

I look at it like this, we must remember, time goes really fast and the fall will be here before we know it and the PS3, will be in our houses, we also have to remember if it is worth having it is worth waiting for

It all depends on how long you can wait. I never buy a console at launch because the hardware is always rushed and expensive. I'm just gonna wait another year (till 2007) and spend some quality time this year with Shadow of the colossus, Zelda, FFXII and rogue galaxy.
I am not going to let the fear of a console with bugs keep me from buying the PS3 at Launch, you can always return it, that is what receipts and warranties are for. You people that want to use this as an excuse to wait, get real and take a chance
what i don't understand is that people keep saying yeahh if sony takes 2 long i will buy the xbox360..! i mean.. Why The urge Of having Next gen..? IT was all good Be4 the e3 of alst year we were all satisfied with our ps2's i still am.. don't forget that sony is still behind the ps2 and still making games for it..Unlike Mircosoft That has Abonded The Xbox Completely..! (right?) so i will wait and play my ps2 till sony releases the ps3.. With Black on the Way and final fantasy XII i am not complianing at all.. Please Sony take Your Time..! P.S i Recommend You Wait...!Â
I am waiting, and I think you should wait as well. But, these are all opinions, so it's your decision. The reason I'm waiting is because I like the games on ps3 way more than the games on 360. Yes, halo 3 will be big, but Microsoft made a big mistake when they said that it would be released on the same day as ps3. Again, just my opinion.
