Do you play trophy less games?

Just curious, had this on my mind since im buying Rainbow Six Vegas today.

As for me, I really do not care if a game has trophies or not. To me, it's just a nice little bonus of fun.

Even though I enjoy getting trophies and try to get as many as my gaming abilities allow me to, I do not buy games based on if they have trophies or not. I buy my games to play and enjoy no matter what the game has or does not have. Mulitiplayer, trophies, co-op, map creations. Does not matter if the game does or does not have these things. If its a game that I like, I buy it for that reason.

I do have a couple of games that I haven't played yet, Maybe it's because of the trophies? Not sure but if a game is fun it doesn't matter.

It used to matter, but it doesn't matter anymore, considering how I racked up 600+ trophies in one year of owning my PS3.

I'm at 700 now, but if I get a new game that has trophies, I will make a goal of platting it. It's pretty fun.

Oh LAWDY, yes. "Resistance" is troph-less wonderfu-bility, I played "F.E.A.R." with no ringie-dingies, loved a little "Dark Sector" long-time, un-interrupted... Yep!

Ive signed several petitions, but the truth of the matter is, its just not gonna happen saddly lol

Unless they even make another Elder Scrolls game, I heard they were not but that could mean alot of things. Like a remake of Dagger fall/ Morrowind, an MMO perhaps, or maybe something else.

Sure. I really enjoyed Grid, which didn't have trophies. Kind of ironic, because in real racing you actually DO get trophies. Resistance FOM was okay. I have to admit though, I was playing Timeshift, and enjoying it a lot, but the lack of trophies was partly responsible for my moving on to a different game.

I would, but I wouldn't be motivated to go back and play through it again or go through all the extra side-missions unless the game was amazing like I would for trophies.

I'll buy a game if it appeals to me and looks fun, if it has trophies then great, but if it doesn't I wouldn't be bothered

trophies are meaningless to me. the game is its own reward.

i come from the time when your only trophy was getting your name on the high score screen (hence my screen name) i get why ppl like them. they add replay value and are almost like side missions to the game in some cases. but trophies will NEVER be a deciding factor in a game purchase for this guy.

This is a very optimistic way of looking at it lol, i hope there will be more from the elder scrolls, they truly are awesome.

A remake of daggerfall or morrowind could even turn out better than an elder scrolls 5.

on a side note, i always imagined there being a trophy for ''close all the oblivion gates'' but that would probably be a trophy worthy of a higher rank than platinum. Plutonium trophy or something lmao.

The only two games that I know that I'll still play are Resistance: Fall of Man and Valkyria Chronicles.

No more selfish than the people demanding trophy patches for old games. :P Sure I have 4 platinums but they're EASY platinums. You can just play those games through once normally & have most of the trophies already, then just get the rest for completion purposes. OK maybe it's nice to show your trophies off but at the same time I feel like I'm under surveillance when I'm playing new games these days. I think you should at least have the option to disable or remove trophies if you don't want them. Plus I believe we have trophies to thank for COPY PROTECTED SAVES. There's no other reason for that numb-skullery.

No, trophies are tied to your PSN account. Copy protected saves are thanks to game companies short changing the player, expecting them to pay more for content already on disk.
