meh im going to be honest, i really don't, ive had it for 2 years and "new" has worn off. no i really doubt the slim will work with the playgear pocket since its fits all snug.

I recommend something. I managed to score a free carrying case from an EB Games. Moments before I complimented the sales guy by telling him he was the first EB Games rep that I'd met who seemed to know what he was talking about. It pays to flatter random videogame retail employees.

The case is just a vinyl skin with a zipper. It has 2 elastic bands that loop around the PSP slim, and on the opposite side of the case are 3 sleeves for UMDs. I don't like the cloth interior because it's bound to generate some static electricity, which for electronic parts is never a good thing. But so far no problems. Did I mention it was free? :D Overall I'm happy with it, and it seems less bulky than the plastic carrying cases that I've seen.

I'd definitely recommend getting a hard case....if you can. Logitech hasn't released a slim version yet, but I'm hoping they do.

I use a rubber silicone case for my PSP Slim. It's pretty good too. Here's a pic.

I bought this PSP Powerwave Acessorry Pack from EB, iunno y. But the case that came with is was really good. nice hard and leather, plus a magnetic latch to keep it in. You can use you earphone nps, and the ac fits but not perfectly. Feels like a rock in your pocket though, but doesnt any hard case :P

I use a plastic bag that comes with the PSP bundle that holds the instruction booklets, then i stick it in the Daxter box. I barely take my PSP outside of the house, so i just use the case for it not to get dust on it. I'll be buying a Traveling Case from Gamestop eventually.

i bought the sony psp travelling case which is used for the phat one. it barely wobbles although you can see the difference on the top and bottom. the sides seem to match up. the bottom of it is shaped wierd. the ends dip down but the center is an uprised area that supports the UMD door. its those down curves that make me scared to play with it in the case because im afraid of pushing a button then snapping that side off XD. but there is slots for power and such and the screen protector. basically i want to just shove it in a jacket or sweater pocket when im travelling... maybe a back pack. i find its good enough. i can even shove cue/que cards that are folded into the sides that dip down and it will make it flat for it. if one comes out and made JUST for the slim ill get it for sure XD.

I don't but I probably should, since I'm rough with my stuff. I've dropped my phone and my iPod about 20 times. :)
