If so.....

What was your first game?

My first game ever that I can rememeber was an hand held game called "Space Invaders" (I was born in the 80's so some of you might not know about this).

What was your first gaming system?

I am pretty sure mines was Nintendo.

What was that one special game (If any) that kept you true to gaming?

I would say Mario or Sonic layed down the bricks for my gaming house.

What about your early gaming days kept you a gamer till this day?

The fact that my gaming experiences kept evolving & I had a hunger (Sort of like sylar from heroes. Lol) for more.

First game I can remember playing is Sonic the Hedgehog.

First gaming system was the Sega Genesis.

Game that kept me true to gaming had to be Sonic 2. It showed me that the magic of games can continue.

The pure entertainment I felt from gaming as a child that I still feel today is what keeps me gaming. Leaving reality to experience everything a character in a game goes through is just awesome.

What about your early gaming days kept you a gamer till this day?

Just the sheer amount of fun I had with my PS. The Crash Bandicoot series had alot to do with it too. Also Time Crisis with the handheld gun was awesome.

1st game : Mario

1st gaming system : Nintendo

Sp game : Sega's Street of Rage series and Road Rash

i were casual gamer on NES & Sega era until that silly PSX blew me away from tv because of its 3D gaming capability. I had amnesia and PSX brainwashed me to get MORE games. Damn PSX, now you made me take care of your son(PS2) & grandson(PS3)

1. Super Mario Bros for the Nintendo Entertainment System. 'Till this very day that game is one of the greatest games I've ever played.

2. NES

3. It's a tie between Stinger ( also known as Detana Twinbee) and Mega Man. Both games kept me glued to my controller for ages.

4. I love to be entertained and video games do the job nicely. I'll probably be a gamer for life so it's all good, lol.

First system was an Atari. Loved having a Nintendo and when SNES came out with Super Mario World, it gave me the motivation to get my first job (cutting lawns at age 10). What keeps me playing is that video games is more fun than watching tv any day of the week (at least I feel like I'm at least doing something that requires thinking).

first game- i think rocky horror show on amstrad, was absolutely **** you walk sideways, and then when you walked into someone you walked around naked, plus games took about 15 minutes to load up on tape, and people complain about this gen.

first system- amstrad, nes shortly after.

game that i loved - zelda at my anties on nes (i think), can't remember which one, but it was badass.

why i game - just enjoy the hobby, having fun is what count's and games deliver that.

First system was the Atari. Hand me down from my older sister. (She was playing the *at the time* uber baddass NES ... :x ) My first game was probably Missile Command, Joust, Pac-Man, or something of the like.

I think those games, and the NES games I played with her were enough to seal the deal for gaming as my chosen hobby forever from the young age of 3. I loved the way they were able to transport me to different worlds essentially. Couldnt get enough of them.

What was your first game?

I don't remember the name. But I do remember it being on Atari/Intellivision (it had a wood finish) and it was a long block eating smaller blocks and the long block grew bigger. I was around 2 or 3 years old.

What was your first gaming system?

Well, we've always had "family" systems and that first was one of those mentioned above. Officially my very own system was PS1.

What was that one special game (If any) that kept you true to gaming?

There was this one first person RPG game for intellivision (don't remember the name) where you had to search for treasure chest in this castle full of monsters and magic doors. Super Mario, Sonic, Street Fighter and Metal Gear.

What about your early gaming days kept you a gamer till this day?

My parents use to play video games all the time up until the 90's. My mom even played video games and pinball machines while she was pregnant with me so I guess it passed down.

I kinda remember the bear game. The ones I remember most vividly were a cowboy game played with the light gun, Thunder Blade helicopter game, Alexx Kidd in Miracle World or whatever, and Fantasy Land. Good times indeed.

What was your first game?

Space Invaders for the Commodore Pet pc. Ran off of a tape deck.

What was your first gaming system?

It was called a Gemini, it was an Atari 2600 clone.

What was that one special game (If any) that kept you true to gaming?

Either Super Mario World or Doom.

What about your early gaming days kept you a gamer till this day?

Learning to build PC's just so I could play the games that kept coming out. Then I rediscovered consoles with the PS2, and here I am very happily appreciating all that makes the PS3 the greatest gaming machine I have owned thus far.

I was over at some relative's house and they had a Super Nintendo. They let me play level 1-1 on Super Mario Bros. I couldn't make the first jump over the hole and I cried. :( I convinced my father to buy me a Super Nintendo and that's where it started. :)

My first game was super mario bros 3, i got with the nes when i was 5 years old at christmas

my favorite game console is the playstation 1, just too many great games

I would say Final fantasy 7, it was my first ps1 games and i hated it to death because my dad brought it cheap so there was no manual to know how to play it but when i understand how to play it I was locked in my room and didn,t do anything else but to pla.

I might sound weird but video games for me it's my life in a sense, real life bores me a lot while video games, i feel like traveling in different world, doing different things

What the hell are you talking about... get an ipod? Same here da_illest. Video games provide the same feeling of transportation to a different world that books do, but to an even further state. Real life really is as boring as it gets in comparison.

First Game? the original SMB; that christmas I got the NES package that had SMB and duck hunt in the same cart, 2 controllers and the zapper. God, I wish that game companies would do those kinds of complete bundles again. First system? NES, duh. One special game? Super Metroid. Back then I could recognize the flaws in other games easily, including in such titles like Super Mario Bros. 3 and the first few Mega Man games. but Super Metroid was the first game that was truly perfect. What has kept me a gamer to this day? Well, as strange as it sounds, gaming is what helped me discover my current girlfriend, who I'd known for the better part of ten years now.

First game ever played? I could hardly remember...I was 2 years old back then(truth). I believe it was Sonic the Hedgehog First gaming system? I believe it was a Sega Genesis, though it was my older brother's. Special Game? Every game is a special game to me. I think the wide variety of games kept me true to gaming...also the fact the my mom hardly lets me out of the house, boredom in the house, and me being a tad bit anti-social. What about my early gaming days? Well, it was an addicting sensation that made me ask for more. And it's the love for video games. Also, it's also because I'm anti-social a little, my mom hardly lets me get out of the house, and video games are my anti-drugs. If it wasn't for them, I would have money to buy drugs. However, thanks to them, I don't, haha.

What was your first game? the first game i bought was super street fighter 2 (hells ****ing yeah). What was your first gaming system? an atari, but i wasn't a gamer back then, so, for all intents and purposes, my first system was SNES. What was that one special game (If any) that kept you true to gaming? I believe it was Super Mario RPG seven stars. It made me fall in love with rpgs, and till this day it's still my favorite genre... i also do some pwning in FPS MP on the sie :). What about your early gaming days kept you a gamer till this day? I don't know. it's hard to pin-point any one factor. But i knew i was happy while playing games. i know that sounds cheesy, but it's not so simple to find something in life that would bring you pure, undiluted happiness, that enveloping so many years without a sing of any wither. My tates have changed, but my joy did not; gaming ftw.

I remember it well. My parents had bought me a Gameboy for Christmas along with a copy of Pokemon Blue. Now those were the days :).

I think I was a gamer as soon as I was born. Not really, but my first systems were the Odyssey and an Atari. But I really started loving video games with the nintendo - Super Mario, Metroid, and Zelda.

MusashiSensi

My first game was... Super Stunt FX or something like that for the Super Nintendo.

My first system was Super Nintendo.

It was actaully Super Stunt FX or something... that game was so hard so I kept trying.

Ever since that game I've been playing more and more games and now it's a thing I must have in my life now.
