I skipped out on virtua fighter but i play alot of tekken dark resurection online on my ps3...do any of you guys play this? Its really alot of fun to get back into fighting games for me because of the online play...besides I cant wait for tekken 6 to come out next year...but if any of you guys play tekken online send me an invite
To answer your question, no. The last fightning game i played was months ago, Tekken 5 or Soul Caliber 3. But yeh im waitin on Tekken 6, now that i think about it, theres hasnt been any new footage or news for a while.
If I walk into an arcade I usually look for old school street fighter 2 or mortal kombat 2. Nostalgia from my earlier videogaming years where it was common for ropes to be setup around arcade machines where crowds of people stood around watching for the next fatality or for their next try. Still play marvel vs capcom on ps2 and capcom vs snk. Killer Instinct was one of my favorites on snes. Eternal Champions on sega was cool back in the day but seems so crappy when I recently played it. As for newer games I like tekken DR on psp. Also virtua fighter evolution on ps2.
The only fighting game Im currently playing is Mortal Kombat Armageddon.
A couple of months back I played some Street Fighter Anniversay Collection and Street Fighter Alpha here and there,but eventually stopped. Im basically waiting for Street Fighter 4 and the next generation Mortal Kombat.
SC4 is the only fighter Im looking forward to. Back in the hay day of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat they were among my favorite games.The way Ninja Gaiden fused great fighting mechanics into an action adventure really turned me off of every thing else though.

Absolutely! I have had many good times playing Tekken 5; I don't expect Tekken 6 to be any different. I also expect to be getting Super Street Fighter 2 HD Turbo Remix or whatever the hell it's called when it comes out. Those two games are enough for my fighting game needs. Unless of course...you also consider Fight Night a fighting game.
Once the holiday season dies down and I actually have money I can spend, I want to get Guilty Gear Accent Core. Love guilty gear. I also have Virtua Fighter 5, and Tekken DR for PS3. I occasionally put in The Bouncer, and play VS mode (I know, a lot of people didn't like it, but I love that game :) )
The only fighter I'm playing right now is Bleach: The Blade of Fate for Nintendo DS. It's a great 2-D fighter, very fast paced and the online is very good too. No lag yet.
I used to play and buy most of the 2D fighters for the SNES, and I was a big fan of the Tekken games on PS1. I still love the 2D Capcom fighters, but haven't played much of the newer 3D stuff.
