do you think gow 3 will have better graphics than uncharted 2?

i remember sony said it would be the best looking ps3 game when it comes out and the gow3 e3 demo looked way better than the gow 3 vga trailer and that was only 7 months and they have another 8 months. also, the gow director said it gow3's graphics would improve a lot from e3 demo and that it would rival its cinematics.

well i can tell u it will be better graphically or not. but its best to just lay back and wait for more info and more trailers about it. so far it looks amazing and love it. im a BIG fan of god of war series (including MGS series). but i dont want to hype it even though i know it will turn out good, i mean shoot its the final chapter of the series they cant F it up. so i rather wait and see more infos. to be honest with u the only trailer i have seen or rather i say gameplay is from E3 2009. i dont want to see much trailers and wat not i dont want to ruin anythin, cuz i hate it when they show a trailer from half way in the game, then the beginning then towards the end, so when i play the game i wont be surprised lol maybe im talkin to much. anyways to answer ur title yes i think it will be graphically better than uncharted 2, and uncharted has some very good graphics too

i dunno maybe...i truthfully dont care hw the graphix look as long as it doesnt look so terrible like from playstation one i dont care about graphics...i care about how the actual game is going to turn out... have yet to play through GOW 1 and 2 so ive got to get those and then ill pick up GOW 3 when it comes out

I think Uncharted 2's will be hard to top. GOW3 might be bigger in scale though, what with the huge titans and gods in the background. And if GOW2 is anything to go by, it'll have some seriosly HUGE environments and views to check out.

All I know is that they'll both be top class in that department.

Uncharted has next gen experience already and I think that makes a big difference. Uncharted has had a few years now and are just improving on the already incredible graphics.

in one way you can say it depend on your oppinion. maybe you like the jungle more than the hmmm.... chaotic pre history world?? if you can call it that.

Whocares what will look better, both will be amazing.

i really don't care..... they both are going to have epic stories and stellar gameplay

God Of War III seems to have more mature graphics, less color, grittier.

While Uncharted 2 has more colorfull graphics(wich I love).

I think God of War 3 has a bigger scale, but I do think the graphics already rival that of the cinematics. If you look at the pics from a cutscene in GoW 1 and 2, and a gameplay pic of kratos in God of War 3, the God of War 3 pic looks better. And they still have more time to improve on the graphics for God of War 3 which I know they will. Back to the topic though Uncharted 2 looks glorious, when I watch it looks more like a CGI movie than a game, so I do think Uncharted 2 will have the better graphics, but GoW 3 is close.

To be honest I'm doubtful right now. GOW3 doesn't look as good as Uncharted yet so it will be hard to top Uncharted 2. That being said, these guys produced the best graphics on the PS2 and they are getting help from Naughty Dog and other devs. They also have a lot of time to polish and improve, so it could look better, its just unlikely. It will still look fantastic though.

This really is a mean question. So what if one game is better than the other, they are different types of games. No one is going to choose to buy one of these games over the other simply based on which one has better graphics. Oh and Uncharted 2 will have better graphics...

GOWIII has a log ways to go, but the leap from the VGA trailer gameplay to the e3 demo was insane.

Also, someone earlier in the thread mentioned that the director said they were looking to improve the graphics more fromt he e9 demo before the game is released. Does anyone have a proof of him saying that? Like a quote in an article?

I think both look incredible, but comparing them is kind of tough since Uncharted has a lot of bright colors while GoW has a darker atmosphere. Uncharted may look better just because of the color pallet, but GoW could be technically better

Well it definitely looks better than Gears 2. I think between Killzone 2, Assassin's Creed 2, and GoW3, people will argue which has the best graphics. Since you hate the Uncharted series (I don't see how that's possible), you're opinion doesn't prove that Uncharted is overrated. I mean it only got an 8 or something on this site. It's underrated if anything. I would easily give that game a 9. I can't think of a single flaw in it
