Obviously he likes the Wii.. then yes you should buy the PSP. it has some cool games on it. I had the DS and psp.. Im not into the DS type games i consider them cartony to a degree. im not saying they are kiddie games.. because they are hard but i just dont care for the art style/ graphics. Well anyways the PSP has both GTA type games. Your shooters. Then it has DS like games, Loco Roco and other games. Im not really up to date on the PSP but im sure things can only get better. Trust me the PSP is not going to let you down. Its totally worth it.. Amen to that brother. It ticks me off when people (gamespot included) says stuff like "the loading times are a bit too long" when you are getting the same sized level, with graphics that are very, very detailed, and a lot of action going on, ON A HANDHELD. People really need to realize that it takes a few seconds to load a level off of that tiny disc.
I was recently askin myself the same question. Only a few hours ago I bought the PSP from circuit city and i would highly recommend you buy it if you are interested. The price just went down to $170 and at circuit city you get a free travelers case, which isn't too bad. I also picked up GTA Liberty City Stories for $10 new at circuit city. i chose all this over a wii and still payed $60 less.
So far I love it. I will probably pick up Socom 2, MGS Po, and Metal Slug in the near future. They are all supposed to be great games.
Over all, YES. It is pretty much a portable computer. I love this little machine, the graphics are astounding for a handheld.
they often come VERY close to PS2 graphics.. Yes, PS2 Graphics. I was suprised it could do so much like RSS and Video RSS.. I was not expecting so many demos and so many great games. Oblivion, Silent Hill, Final Fantacy, Resident Evil(?) all coming out soon for the PSP I can't wait!Â

When i started up my $10 copy ;) of GTA i was amazed at just how much it looks like the ps2. Its amazing, screen shots or internet videos just don't do it justice. Gamespot doesnt do it justice in how they gripe about the load times, which are nothing. Just always keep in mind this is a handheld, so you are going to get smaller games and larger load times. You really have to play it to believe it.
Always look in the weekend ads of circuit city and best buy, they have so many great deals on psp games its crazy.
if yougot wii, then yes.. i got wii, and dont like it sofar, so PSP is great for me... Myquestion is.. Why should you not get PSP?? its cheap, a Mp3,video,game Player... so whats stopping you?
