Thats obviously become the main selling point behind socom is the headset. Do you think it will be enough? People keep going on an on about the low review gs has given this game but they are not the only ones that have put low reviews out of the game. I personnally think the game blows and reveiws are telling it how it is this time around.
If you want to listen to a review listen to Ign.com they but the review on hold untill the fix the known issues associated with online games first couple of days release. I applaude them the headset included is no charity case to buy this game, from what i've played i can see the potential Socom offers to third person tactical shooter genre.
Just wait till this issues get resolved i've found that playing during the morning hours are the best, and in small maps. I didnt think i would like this type of shooter but i gave it a try and will be looking forward to future socom games,
if anyone is thinking about geting socom. trust me its worth it. the gs review bads are only because of the current issues in the game, but its still a good game and a fun one that will last for years. there will be patches so it will only get better with time
Even though I got it with the headset, I was sold on the game before the bundle was announced. And because I'm a Socom fan, it was one of the biggest reasons that convinced me to get the PS3 first. I don't regret it one bit. IMO Socom is better than a 6.5
