Do you think its safe to buy a used 80gb PS3 off Craigslist?

If i decide to test it at their house, what should i do to make sure everything is working?Any other suggestions?

Your actually going to some strangers house that You met off of craiglist? Not a good idea IMO.

I personally wouldn't, but at the same time, that's just how I feel. It's based on your comfort level and trust for doing this transaction; I'm more defensive, therefore wouldn't even consider it an option.

I bought my ps3 new off craigslist for 300 (80g). I buy trade and sell games on there all the time. Not everybody on craigslist is looking to rip you off. Just use common sense and you will be fine. It's a great way to save money, just make sure you know what you are getting.
