Do you think killzone is going to be to little to late.....

I mean the game is going to be good , it has to be after all of the hype and pressure from Sony, but it just seems the whole FPS genere is getting crowded. Considering the fact it is going to release right after GOW and Resistance 2 , as well as another COD game, because they release one every holiday season, I think it may not be as memorable or jaw dropping as anticipated.

To be honest, seeing from the recent previews of the game, Killzone 2 doesn't appeal to me at all. Compared to the demo video they released in 2005, its just lacking so much. Graphics are good, no doubt about that, but the levels and the gunfight looks just like another FPS. What the first demo video was so great about was all the explosions and dudes getting lit on fire and your allies doing all sort of stuff like helping each other and giving commands so it feels like a real battlefield. In the recent coverage, the game world seems so unpopulated. What made COD4 so good in terms of single player was that there was a lot of people in the battlefield. If you're gonna make a war game, there has to be a war, and with people fighting, doesn't it make sense?PSdual_wielder

I agree with this hombre, the graphics look nice, but the gameplay doesnt look really strong, and i pretty much believe that it is just another linear-game that just is run around and kill, BUT i like Killzone 1, and i really want to see killzone doing much better than the first, after all this is the third generation of playstation and the gameplay doesnt seem to have evolved too much from the first. I really hope the game will be good :)
