Do you think LBP will sell a million copies it's first day?

i have never seen a mgs 4 commercial. like wtf? i thought this game was huge. and no commercials? still didnt stop it from selling one million its first day. lulz?

but lbp will only sell if theres a good e3 presentation, well marketed/good advertising

It'll be a great game and I think it could even sell systems if Sony sets it up in PS3 kiosks, but there's no chance it'll sell that many copies in 1 day.BenderUnit22

i bought PS3 cause of LBP, and its the only game that ever hyped me, i never get hyped with games in my entire life!!!!

i think what the other guy was referring to was the PS3 commercial where they were showcasing a lot of games in one commercial and one of them were MGS4. I saw that one quite a bit too. I've seen a MGS4 commercial about 3 times, and there's a new PS3 commercial with them showing GT5: Prologue, LittleBigPlanet, & MLB 08. The thing about that one is sometimes they show MLB 08 and sometimes they show MGS4

Ok my Thoughts on this subject if anyone reads this and responds yay I've got my internet productivity reward for the day.

I think LBP has a good potential to Even Outsell MGS4....EVENTUALLY.

Here's Why:

MGS4 is an epic experience of a game it's awesome in jsut about every aspect mostly for fans but newcomers can enjoy the awesome graphics and gameplay mechanics just as much as the long time fans so it's just about one of the better games this gen so far for sure.

But unlike LBP MGS4 is not a game that can continue selling well for long periouds of time simply because It's online is not it's main focus which is the big apeal these days for people PS3 and 360 Players alike these days preffer to interact with other people in the end no?

Now think about that and Think about LBP what kind of game is it really?
It's a game that thrives as much as people can make it thrive...Meaning It's a game that makes people invite other people they know to play it with them and as more people join the game and buy it from day 1 even until 6 months time it's community will grow and attract new players constantly just like WOW Did It didn't sell 10 milion in the first day not even the first 2 months it slowly Sold more and more constantly barely showing signs of slowing because it spread like an ugly disease.

I think LBP might do this as well and if so let's hope it spreads like ice cream can spread inside a cup filling it up (you know whta I mean a good kind of spreading :p) in the end if people with some creativity buy this game and make maps for it and are friendly enough it's bound to attract more people to get it and eventually after almost a year might even outsell MGS4.

I don't know if any of this makes much sense but to me it does if it doesn't to you that's your opinion and I'm supposed to respect that...not that I do >.>

I've seen the Mgs4 commercial too many times.

LBP isn't as big a game as MGS4 or GTAIV and it doesn't already have an established fanbase. There's no way a niche game like this would sell a million copies in the first week, let alone the first day. Silent-Hal

someone in here is smart. like he said, littlebigplanet is not a widely known game to casual gamers like the names of grand theft auto and halo. theres no way this game sells a million copies on its first day.

First Wekk maybe 1 mill but no on the first day

Even thought i will pick mine up on the Second day =)
