Do you think LBP's tools are not complex enough?

I have been trying to make some contraptions and other things, but with the tools in the game I cannot make them. I think there should be more options and more tools in the game to let us make more complex and better levels. Do you agree?

I think it's just right. Although I wish I knew how to attatch a whinch or any connector to an object other than in the far plane on the Z axis.

If I have a normal wooden block, if I attatch a whinch it will put the whinch in the far distance and I want to place it closer to me on the Z axis but it just won't let me.

More than enough in my honest opinion :P. Half the tools just seemed unnecessary haha. But I guess I really haven't tried them all that much yet.

oooooooooooohhhhhhhhh, aren't you just the intellectual!!!!!!!! Fool, you probably have to google how to tie your shoes still. Acronymns assume your audience knows your subject. Although you may impress the two year olds with your inflated ego, Remember, when you assume, you make an ass out of you and me!!!!!!!!

Grow up, don't assume, and humble thyself before your audience.

thank you, Tjsage, we just stopped in and aren't a regular, so-called. Now, for the other sponge-brain, here's some acronymns you may not be aware of. In the IT arena, do you know what RIP is? Now, don't go and google that!!! Be honest!! How about EMS in the EPA world with respect to motorcycles? I could go on with acronymns. I lived with them and they are the biggest, single pain in the ass for effective communication. You may impress those not in the know, or 80 year old grandmothers, but your glory is a flash in the pan. So, to communicate, which is the single most complex venture in the human experience, try a little effort and spell out your communication.

Grow up? your the one calling people losers, people who have used these forums longer than you obviously. take your own advice and it might be better to ask what DLC means, or maybe you can google it to find your answer lol.

Well, with LBP everything needs a reason to do what its going to do. Or it needs a part to make it do that. And that goes for every single action.

How loose will my wheels be, will they have friction. Rubber sticky tires, or slippery plastic ones. The bolt must be loose enough for a wheel to spin. A bolt must be attached. You cant just stick on wheels and expert them to spin. If thats what you mean by not enough. Do you maybe mean not easy enough? Then its kinda a confusing answer lol

I think that they are pretty good, but I wish that there were a few more like respawn state, or somethiing to make parts of the level random.

PS Angela, did you realize that this is a gaming forum?

I think that if anything some of the tools need to be a bit less complex. There's beauty in simplicity. Maybe instead of the tools not being robust enough you're just overthinking your design.

You're analogies are horrible. You came to a gaming board, and you're calling people losers for common acronyms? Just because you don't understand them...

"Acronyms assume your audience knows your subject" ........ *looks around* it's not like we are putting on a gaming seminar for old people...this is a GAMING forum.
