Metal Gear Online is what i expected. Its "Soild" enough and the graphics are about as good as the gameplay. Having played the PSP portable Ops game it is very similar but the PS3 controls are of course an improvement. I haven't played the game much over the past day/s but was wondering if people think it will be something that lasts and a game they will play online for months. Is there enough to it.

It won't have nearly as much traffic as big name FPS's, but I'm sure MGO will have a good amount of activity for many years. I know I'll be playing it for a long time to come. It's a great change of pace from the usual FPS's I play online.

It has a chance i think but unlikely imo. I don't particular play MGS for Online. I think the majority of people won't play MGO for very long but this is coming from a person who hasn't play the Beta.

Agreed, but my biggest beef with it so far(I know it's just the beta) is the auto-aim. It's so cheap. I'm cool with it in the campaign but in the online portion I hope they take it out in the finished product.

Well, coming from someone who is playing in the beta I must say that MGO has some serious potential....once they fix the bugs.

I think it will if they really make it unique (and it certainly has achieved that), and I'm sure Konami won't pull the plugs on the servers like they did with MGS3, because they seem to investing alot of time into this.

I think it'll lose alot of solo players and have alot more clans. I'm really interested in playing it tacticaly with a team of people who want to play it that way. being a solo player for the moment it's alright but not great.

I'm enjoying the change of pace, perhaps my reflexes aren't what they were. I've spent a couple of hours on it today and it's looking promising.

I think MGO's online will last for a long, long time. Since this is gonna be an online experience in connection with MGS4, there's bound to be alot of people for years.

I just pray the servers don't get shut down like in MGS3's. There would've been people playing that to this day if it wasn't shut down I'm sure.
