It could, but it's doubtful. Capcom has developed games for multiple systems since the beginning of time. Insomniac has been developing exclusively for the PS for years.

Perhaps his wording was a bit off. I mean, do you honestly think companies co-operate, invest millions of dollars and dont *sign deals*? I think he rather meant to say that Insomniac are a seperate company from Sony, but I'm sure that they have some contracts about their IPs.

The don't own them, but they finance them and publish their games. Correct in other words they are a 2nd party developer much like what Rare was to Nintendo

sony doesn't own insomniac but they own the rights for resistance and ratchet and clank Exactly. They own the IP's. That is why Rare can't put a Donkey Kong game on 360. Nintendo owns that IP. However I believe Rare owns the IP for Banjo Kazooie. It's uncommon for the developer to own the IP, it's usually owned by the Publisher.

Oh, hell no! Insomniac is one of the best producers for the Sony consoles, and it will keep that way. But since Devil May Cry will be available to PC, i think some producers will go that way as well. But inside the circle of Consoles, there will always be games only available to one of the consoles. And I think Insomniac will remain on the Sony's side of the war. They're betting a lot on games such as Resistance. It will be like asking "Is Jak & Daxter available to XBOX 360?".

sony doesn't own insomniac but they own the rights for resistance and ratchet and clank exactly, think of it as say Sony owns the yarn and they paid insomniac to make them a sweater. haha i dont know i was trying to think of a good analogy, thats what i came up with lol.

Stop trying to sound intelligent. Sony publishes the R&C games (they publish all Insomniac games and Insomniac has only released games on a Sony console). Ratchet and Clank has as much of a chance of getting ported over as Gears of War.
NO IT DOESNT !!!! LISTEN. Sony owns the rights to the characters, the story, the idea. They signed on Insomniac to make the actually game for them. the only way the game can go to another system is if SONY , not insomniac, sells the rights. So bascially if there was to be a port of it, it woudl have to be called " screwdriver and klink " and it woudl have to be made with a beaver and a walking egg. This way the company doesnt get sued for copyright infringment .
