I don't know. I have heard plenty of bad things about SOCOM lately, even if it is newer, will it really have the same kind of following that Warhawk has?
I was really, really hyped for SOCOM and was all ready to trade in Warhawk for it... long story short... played the SOCOM beta... severely disappointed and will be passing on it
Actually it's made me appreciate and enjoy Warhawk much more... I just hope the community doesn't die down anytime soon since I want to keep playing for a lot longer... don't know how other players feel though
the headset is going to make Socom a best seller and most likely will replace Warhammer not becuase the sub-par game Socom deserves it, just the headset is going to be awesome and if you have the money invested in the game might as well play it

You meen Warhawk? But anyways i hope not, I am nowhere near done with warhawk. That is a vallid point about the headset though, it is a reason that i may buy the game regardless of my intentions to actually play it.

It already has for me. Socom will be a solid strategy shooter with deep community support. That's good enough for me. The beta, with all its bugs, pulled me right off of Warhawk. Socom is just more rewarding for me.
But already don't like Warhawk, so that wasn't hard to do.

Ummm HEadset plus SOcom Confrontation =$59.99, Headset Standalone=$59.99 ummmm now just think about what you said for a minute. I would much rather get a game plus the headset just to be able to play socom becuase as time goes on they will patch and fix the game and its not bad when you consider that you are technically getting either the headset or the game free however you want to look at it
Warhawk is a very solid game I don't see it going anywhere soon . Socom will have a much tighter community base but will not replace it . The headset is a good deal but I don't like blue-tooth headsets .I much prefer the PS eye for a mic .
Socom has a large hardcore gamer following... I'm sure if Confrontations is any good it will replace Warhawk.... also to those that thing its going to suck because of the Beta you have to remember why company's release beta... They released the beta not so you could have fun, but so they could test out what they need to do to there servers and find ways to fix all the problems...
Warhawk is really next-gen I beleive because I don't know any other game that has these many features or had as many players in one room but I definetly don't think Socom will replace it cause it still is a very fun game even though I've had it for 7 months because Incognito is kind enough releasing expansion packs every 3-4 months with each one the experience gets so much better like what game has had JETPACKS this is the first developer to use it in a massive environment which is FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!!!!
without a doubt it will. for me at least, but they really arent the same type of game either, socom has a much deeper feel to it, like the objectives actually feel like a objective. the one thing i love about socom is that through all the socom games out they never gave in to the crappiest online game mode ever, capture the flag, i hope to never see it on socom

It can't .. Warhawk is an all out war .. Socom is tactical ..
Socom has not had the same following since after the second one, although a lot stayed loyal with 3 and CA, its still had a lot of drop off, confrontation is suppose to bring that back and whether it does or not remains to be seen. Warhawk is a fun game with quick gameplay. it will not replace warhawk, and history has not been kind to great games branched out to other devs, (exception is COD4). every game i have seen come from ps2 to ps3 has had less and you get more space WTF is that and socom is no different this time around i just hope its good when its all said and done at release
