Yo,

I think that Sony should incorporate some kinda Messenger to there XMB for us PS3 users, do u agree or disagree?

You can't even access the XMB from in a game and you want a messenger? :lol:

I could care less so I'd say no. That is why I have a computer for all my internet stuff besides gaming online.

No because the 360 and wii fanboys are gonna start talkin about "sony copied" again. To avoid all that nonsense they should try and create their own form of instant messenger for use in Home and the XMB!

Well since a lot of my friends use AIM, and Sony obviously supports ads, AIM would be a better choice, but I don't think they should. I agree with big7boss

Can't you already send messages and voice from XMB? You just cannot access it while playing a game.

THE PS3 already has Yahoo, and AIM on messenger on it. YOU JUST HAVE TO INSTALL LINUX ON IT. i have linux, and i have yahoo messenger and AIM on my PS3, don't know about GOOGLE

i would say yes, but it should be GAIM sicen that allows you to talk to everyone on AIM, yahoo and MSN all in one messanger

So the XMB will be endless..

If everything is gonna be added on XMB its gonna look like crap.. but u can log on some websites to sign in and talk to ppl.

or just improve website surfing on ps3.

i dont really care, but if they were to put it into the xmb, first of all they should fix up the friends chat and make that work in game before starting to introduce third party messengers.

No they need to allow you access to the XMB thats all. So you can either text or chat while in game or atleast in the games lobby. You already get notified when your friends log in or log out. They just need add would you like to send a message or would you like two chat.

No. I don't want exploits created cause of them that could damage my PS3. I already get this crap with PC, so why cross that?

AIM must cost a fortune, Matrix Online (for its short-lived period) one of the main features, prior, was having AIM chat from within the matrix. Shortly after its launch and the realization that WoW ruled all, the first feature to be dumped was AIM.
