Sony had the best conference while Microsoft mostly showed multiplatform and their big announcement was FF13 for 360. Sony had all these different announcements, some big and some small. It was a lot of suprises, and it took the cake for me. Perhaps it was because I don't like FF13 that I didn't really care for the Microsoft exclusive stuff. I want gears 2. But everything else on PS3 - I want Fallout 3 badly.

Agreed, Gears of War 2 was they only thing exclusive wise that had me hyped. That FF13 announcement saved the MS conference, Sony showed a list of good exclusives.

Nintendo's presentation was by far the worst of the three - did you even see the demonstration of Wii Music?! FF13 for the 360 is an exciting anouncement for xboxers, but other than that the MS presser was lacking too. I think overall Sony "won" E3 with announcements like MAG and GOW3 (not that that was a surprise), not that a game expo is a competition between systems.

i just relize something, the only reason thought Microsofs presentaion was so interesting was because they presented two games that are also on PS3. Other then that and FF13 announcement, there wasn't much to it. I was depressed when herd it, but after seeing what sony presented i feel better. My faith has restored.

Sony and Nintendo presetend exclusives. The sword game looked pretty interesting, but that was pretty much it.

Yeah that is right they announced FF XIII coming to the 360 which was the only big news and showed games they announced before E3 their conference wasn't as good as Sony and the only special thing that happened was FF XIII.

Microsoft didn't show anything special, they didnt even show what they would have pass 2008, except ffxiii and a few rpg.

atleast sony showed loads of games and revelead new games and still has loads of games that they havent shown (tgs here we come)

Sony and Microsoft really supported their fanbase. If you do favor one system over the other between the two, your choice is more obvious. And this is a dedicated PS3 forum so why even ask. I thought Sony delivered what the fans wanted. But my goodness...right after the Nintendo Press Conference they had 2 topics side by side in the Wii Forum, and the hardcore Wii fan were pissed. Both of the topics had close to 50 post, and surprisingly there was little to no resistance in saying it was a disappointment. That was shocking.

I think E3 this year sucked, and no one won. MS just showed off that they can rip-off Nintendo and Sony. Nintendo re-released WiiSports, added motion sensors to thier motion sensor controllers, and announced a couple new titles. And Sony finally released their movie store, and revealed MAG.

^Exactly. The FF13 announcement was just steeped in shock value. In the grand scheme of things not much has changed because of it, shock doesn't (well, it shouldn't) win E3.

No one should really win E3 anyway..I just see it as a 'This was announced..yay!' and 'This was announced...boo..' type-thing.

I don't quite understand everyones shock and horror at the fact that 360 will be getting FFXIII. It will still be the same game just available to a wider audiance.

But I never watched Sony's conference but I read what was shown. Still no release date for HOME ay? Shocking...:roll:

E3 was nothing special in my opinion. Nothing new on 360 but i found the final fantasy really nice and that "bungie countdown" keeps making me guess. The Mag on ps3 is surprsing with 256 players and god of war 3. Nothing really surprising. Animal crossing on wii is rather tempting. All in all not much surprises. I think 360 and ps3 conferences were simaler. But ps3 was better in my opinion.

FFXIII is a great welcome to xbox 360 gaming library, but that does not make MS winner. Microsoft did have great games like Gears of WAR II, and Resident evil 5. Microsoft focused on multi-platform games. But, sony came out and announced bunch of new exclusive games like mag, God of War III, and more.

I think MS did not do great job in e3.

I only own a PS3 but I have to say I greatly admire Nintendo.

While Sony and MS battle it out, Nintendo remind of a stoner type character from a film (Brad Pitt in True Romance comes to mind) that just chill out then maybe say to their friends "So uh...I was thinking we could like...make a a New Mario Kart, or something?"

nintendo won for sure, they did not come out and talk 15 minutes about their current platform , then the remainder was of older platforms or their portable

they gave each a equal amount of time to be talked about,

i dont know , every time reggie or iwata come they mean business and they told the truth,

they told us all about what made ds sell, they did not say oh were gonna be the console of 08 they actually p layed the games they showed us, unlike others, whom talked and shown a breif trailer , we got to see how it worked ,
