depends on the area u live in. if your in a big city or in suburbsthen yes it will sell out. but if you live in the middle of no where, then no.Rafinator
I would think the opposite since bigger cities have bigger stock. I wouldn't under-estimate the consumers of small cities. They have incredible deals on the PS3 at best buy > 40GB w/ 5 movies+SM3 and one other, controller, game = $399

Where is this deal at? I already have a 60GB PS3 though.
why would it sell better?
black friday isnt a day where everything is half price.....so dont expect to go to the stores and expect to walk in a nd go'WOW a 40gb ps3 with 14 games for $150 oh and look at that a 55 inch sony lcd for only $99.99'
ye guys think its some sorta electronic giveaway day. the ps3 already had a price cut dont expect to see the 40gb any cheaper, you might get it with an extra game and a pad but you wont get a ps3 or anything at that for $100 cheaper
the price of a 40gb ps3 is 399, i'm sure retailers can still afford to slash a 10% off from that without loss, since employee discount @ walmart is 10% off, meaning they still make money for selling them at 90% the original price, although the profit is slim
so why not? the price may be lowered a bit further in order to clear the stock at the end of year
[QUOTE="Udsen"]I don't even know what black friday is, lol. :(calandbolg
Me neither, hope it's not a racist thing tough.

That's the deal at my local Best Buy. I'm pretty sure that it would be every where though.

possible they may sell out, prolly unlikely though. They do have some good deals out there so people can't use the it costs too much excuse. If they throw anymore stuff with em they'll be practically giving them away.
I work at Target and we haven't really seen the PS3 moving that fast. Although I'm assuming that Black Friday we will sell out of everything cause... that's what happens EVERY year. I remember a couple of years ago we went through 50 Xboxes in an hour.
I think it's far more likely that Wiis will be flying off the shelf. Cause black friday is all about sheep following the herd. Mostly parents buying electronics. More serious gamers I think tend to stay away on black friday because of the craziness and the fact that there aren't that many great deals. Consoles do NOT go on sale. Games do, but not buy a big enough amount to drive informed gamers in.

Thanks for the link, so I guess it's pretty much like boxing day.
