De JaVu. God its boring reading the same threads over and over.
Its so annoying replying to a post about why there's not going to be this re-design any time soon, especially with features such as:
2 Analogue sticks and an internal HDD (sheer stupidity),
only to read a thread such as this months later and see the exact same bl00dy question asked by someone else.
Do some well rounded research and you'll work out for yourselves that its not in the near future, and probably realise how annoying you've been by grabbing a single piece of speculation off a website and posting it as "SONY PSP2 CONFIRMED !!!".
Raise the level of intelligence people. It's not hard to actually read a thread before posting.
It should be redesigned with a second analog stick.zeus_gbThat's not a redsign, that's PSP2, a Redsign is not a neccesity, and anyways JUST IGNORE THESE REDSIGN THREADS
I don't think the PSP should be redesigned right now. The Sony tradition is 6 months to a year before the next generation they redesign. So you can probably expect it 6 months before a next generation PSP comes out.
And if they never redesign it they SHOULD make a next generation PSP in 2009.
wow this again, man just enjoy the current psp a redesign isn't neccessary if developers make games for the hardware and stop porting console(ps2) games, if you think the ports are bad now just think if the psp had two sticks the amout of ports would increase greatly. Dont really see the PSP getting much smaller just open it you'll see why.
maybe they can make it a clam shell with the screen and better speakers on top and the improved controls on the bottom (analog stick instead of nub slider, pressure sensitive button), also add more internal memory (atleast 10gb 2 for the OS 8 for the user),faster umd drive and improved battery life all these things would lead to a psp2.
