Buy and Buy. I never understood renting games cosidering you can buy a game for 60 bucks, keep it for 6 months, get your use out of it, and then trade it in for 30.

$30, you want get $30 for any trade in game at Gamestop at most you will get $20, most likely $15. If you are talking about ebay you can. It is like this, If you give a pot of gold to gamestop, they will give you 5 coins back. And beside you rent games because they only cost $8 for a couple of days.

I'm still not entirely convinced about Uncharted (I might try it this holiday season) and I haven't played GoW2 yet, though the first is great.

So they're both rents, although GoW3 will probably be a buy once I'm done with GoW2.

Uncharted 2 will be a buy for me if it has online multiplayer. If not, I won't even look at it.

And I couldn't care less about God of War 3.

Day one buys for me.

Besides, I don't rent. Whether it's games or movies, I buy what I'm interested in.

I almost traded COD 4 in last year for 35 after I had the game for 6 months.

Buys. Both of them. The developers of both are amoung the strongest development teams in the world and have yet to put out a bad game.

Anyone who refuses to even play an offline only game is an idiot and needs to get some sort of attention span. Online does not, and has never made any game better than its core mechanics and design sense. I don't care about whether or not Uncharted 2 will have multi, as I'm more interested in the characters, story, and core gameplay. Same with God of War.

Again, considering Santa Monica is 2/2 with amazing games, and Naughty Dog is 8/8, these are both definite buys. Besides, renting and trading games in doesn't help the game industry, it only helps upscale pawnshops fatten their wallet.

Rent Uncharted, buy God of War. The graphics of Uncharted trump so far, but I'm thinking GoW's gameplay will be more memorable.

God of war is a sure buy... if you like the first uncharted, buy the second... if not much, just rent it.

Both will be rentals for me, until they drop in price. $39.99 sounds about right.
