Do you think this would be an amazing PS3 feature?

I believe this would be an amazing feature.

Having the ability to take pictures and have them sent straight to your HDD. Whenever you would tap the PS button it would take a picture of everything that was shown up on the screen when you pressed that button, then direct the picture to your HDD. They could also add an option to disable this if it was an annoyance to some people, and have the ability to turn on a pop-up that would ask you "are you sure you want to take this picture".

Then, perhaps Sony would make a image hosting site just for PS3 saved images. So you could upload them onto a site from your PS3, and pick them off from your PC. Thoughts? Any comment/criticism is much appreciated.

Sounds pretty good. But I get the feeling a lot of people would abuse this feature if they were running ... umm ... adult-style video material on their PS3's.

When I got my ps3, I was looking around to see if there was a way to take a screenshot. I would like to be able to take screenshots in and out of game.

Anyway, I think that is great.

Their supposed to give us the option to take screenshots in the next update i thought, 2.00 i believe. I would love to have a screenshot option :]

Screenshots are always welcomed

good way to capture those awesome moments and a good way to catch online cheaters/glitchers

I agree, it would be a fun feature to use.

I always do it when I'm on a computer, very useful.
