Both.
The Blu-Ray support really didn't factor into my decision to buy a PS3. At the time HDDVD was still around, and I decided to wait for one format to come out on top before I started building my blu-ray library. I thought i would have to wait about a year, ended up waiting about a month before toshiba called it quits.
i use my ps3 for dvd's, games, music, pics but not blu ray...they are too expensiveEvilStealth64

I just rent my Blu-ray movies at Netflix. It's a lot cheaper than buying them or renting them at a normal rental store (like blockbuster or Hollywood video). I also watch normal dvds on it to though.
On older dvds I have to change the resolution to 480p and change my TV to zoom mode because it looks stretched if I don't do so. It also looks like there is screen tearing too. Does anyone else have the same problem? :?
I watch both on my PS3. So far my favorite Blu-Ray that I own in Blood Diamond.Well I have only played games at it,maybe when i get bored and some money im gonna watch Blu-rays.

I have 11 BR movies, that rock in my HDTV and Home Theather!! Mainly BR movies.
The regular DVD´s get a pretty well upscale also. I have a primary DVD player for the common movies, but when I´m for the cool movies! I use my 20Gb PS3, and also all the possible media! :)
