So I thought this game was out in April... Has it been held up?

:?

I have PSN funds waiting to be spent on it the minute it releases in NA... Anyone know the deal? And what they're going to charge for it? Similar PC games from the Beeb have been very inexpensive (and free, to British citizens who have a TV license, of course)... I'm DYIN' for this game!!!

:D

It was scheduled for May, but Amazons listing is now 'this item has not yet been released'. No official date yet.

Doctor Who the Eternity Clock is still pending release. I'll give it a go when it is out. Thinking of trying the PSvita version.

hows it gonna play? also off subject but do ya think they'll ever consider making a game based on stargate SG1? the idea of controling Tilk running around blasting goulds could be really intertaining.. just a thought.

It's going to be a combination of platforming, puzzle solving, some stealth & action... There's some trailers on YouTube which show some gameplay. None of it may be terribly original, and it's going to be somewhat "for the fans" - Sounds like they're dipping into Matt Smith's pantheon of characters and plots fairly heavily with Amy, River Song, etc. Looks like Daleks too...

Never heard of it. Is it based on the 11th Doctor? IMO he's by far the best one.

It's based on the current Doctor, I guess he's the 11th? I've lost count - Been a fan since 1974, so I'm partial to Jon Pertwee.

But I really love the revival. It's a show you can be genuinely proud of the writing & production, as a fan. The writing has blown my mind since they rebooted in 2005. I give a ton of credit to David Tennant for his part in sparking new fans, but I'm very happy Matt Smith took over the part. I think he's a wonderful combination of Troughton & Pertwee, and the series has taken on some of the fantastic, almost surreal qualities of the best Hartnell like "Celestial Toymaker", where the writing is almost more CS Lewis... Fanciful and outlandish, where he's the protector of the young. His companionship with Amy has already been one of the best in the entire series' run... From his first episode, I knew it was going to be something special.

There are flashes of those creatures that you forget the minute you're not looking at them, from season six. I forget the name of them as I have only watched the sixth season once. Like i said, this game doesn't look to be terribly different from the hour-long PC games the BBC has been offering, but not being much of a PC gamer OR a British citizen with a TV license so that I could download them for free, this coming PSN game has been on my radar forEVER.
