If you do get a screen protector, get the Hori screen protector. I got mine at a site called decalgirl.com. I had another screen protector that I bought that is found in most stores, and it was horrible, darkened the screen, kept forming bubbles, and kept falling off. You won't even notice the Hori protector and it never comes off...its worth the couple extra dollars....trust me!
Hori is a great brand of screen protector, as for getting minor scratches on the screen yes it's very easy to do even if you are using one of those microfiber clothes. whip lightly and make sure there's nothing on the cloth. If there's a small grain of salt on the cloth and you wipe it across the screen it will most likely cause micro scratches to form.B-badWOAH!!! i cant believe the dam screen scratches that easily!!! jeez
Just take better care of your PSP. Ive had mine for 6 months and it doesnt have a scratch on it. Still looks brand new.ironwarrior2if you didnt read my thread, i am taking care of my psp fine, but i live on a dirt road so im constantly cleaning the screen

if you live in a place that's a dirt magnet then forget all about the Playgear pocket, just use the original pocket because it doesn't have empty gaps that allow the dirt to go in.

Perhaps when you're cleaning the screen, the dirt is scratching it when the cloth rubs it?
I agree on the Hori screen protector, best there is out there. You can pick one up at TMove.net, that's where I got mine.nokinrecycler
I use theinvisibleshield (body shield that covers the entire face of the psp) and ive had it on my psp for about 18 months or so and it has not one scratch. is the hori really that great compared to the invisible shield? i dont see how anything can be better than it given its longevity
I have no idea what you are talking about. I have had my PSP for 5 months and not treated it with particular care and it has no scratches -- none. Can you post a pic of yours?aspro73wth would i post a pic of my PSP. it just has scratches on it.
I don't think my PSP is any different than all of the other PSPs out there so my conclusion is that some of you just have to accept the fact that you are careless!
I know a child who breaks toys for fun that owns a PSP and after five months, there isn't a single scratch on the screen (no screen protector either). If you leave your PSP lying around the house, then you are asking for the scratches to it. You are only spending more money investing on screen protectors when you most likely don't need one to begin with. The same people that have scratches on their PSPs are most likely the same people that get easily frustrated playing console games because they can't advance or think the game is too hard. So they take their frustration out on the controller or game system and damage them. No wonder people have difficulty buying $40 games, anticipating a price drop.
I am just speaking out loud. Then again, I could be right. Just pay closer attention to where you keep your PSPs and you won't accumulate any scratches.
