Does any one else watch complete game walkthroughs?

I have watched Dead Space 1 and 2(I'm a pu$$y), Alan Wake and Gears of War Trilogy(no Xbox 360) on Youtube that I can remember. I actually enjoy watching other people play more than I enjoy playing games myself sometimes. Any one else feel the same? Almost like a movie.

Not the whole thing. I watch just enough to see what the game im interested in is like. If I like what I see then I buy it.

The only time I watch a game walkthrough, is when I need a little help getting past a cetain part of a game.

I only watcha bit, only of the part i need when i get really stuck!!! or when i reaallly dont know what to do... i like to try a lot before i go and see one...

I only watch to see if I like the game. i may also read the trophy walkthrough, like do the story first to neat the story trophys then repeat in that level do that... So on and so forth, I try not to spoil the story of the game xP

Like most other people I generally watch gaming videos if I need help. Although recently I do like watching some Dark Souls videos purely to see how different people play to see if I can improve my game.

No, I want to play games, not watch others

I dont mind watching one when I have some downtime at work

I mostly watch videos if I'm stuck on a battle or something. Or if I'm thinking of buying a game, I might watch a few minutes of gameplay footage to get a better idea of what it's like.

But no, I find walkthroughs pretty boring, and extremely annoying if the guy talks all the way through it.

Yes I'm had to do this twice. Mostly I get stuck on a single part of a game. So I just need a bit of a walkthrough. either watch it or read. only twice have a watched a entire game.

seriously how can you get enjoyment playing the game if you watch the walkthroughs and then play the game, i mean seriously i get your point with dead space 1 can get tricky sometimes but gears of war?? seriously whats hard about that game, you just run and shoot, i only use walkthrough on really tough parts of games and that isn't very often as games aren't that hard, or i used them to get past small sections which are pis*ing me off after a few goes just to see how the other person did it and not because i can't

I play the game first. Then play it again on a different difficulty. When i go for 100% or platinum i READ guides.

Certainly not for an entire game, just a specific moment that im stuck on. But I will say that I watch twitch tv a lot depending on the game or the personality playing.

Only when im stuck on a certain part, or if im interested in a particular game i'll check out part of a walkthrough to see if i like the gameplay. but i do much enjoy watching other people play more than i enjoy playing it myself too.

I once watched a full OOT 100% playthrough. The guy knew exactly what he was doing and gave some pretty awesome commentary. I started watching it because I had such a craving to play the game (but couldn't hook up my old gamecube), but even once I managed to get going on the game myself I still kept watching whenever a new video came out.

He's got hardly any views for some reason (some of his later ones have less than 100) but I still think he's great:

I only watch walkthroughs for games I plan to play. I don't have an Xbox 360 so I could never play GOW or Alan Wake. Dead Space was just more fun to watch than play IMO. I played the first 6 chapters before I quit. I am watching Amnesia The Dark Descent right now because I hate mouse/kb, but people say it is a good game.

That sounds like internet torture. Watching people fail at an escort mission for 6 hours of vids or get lost.48knightsxiii
