I think Uncharted 1 is better than the 2nd. Better story. And It had a certain feel to it that was lost with U2. Anyone agree the first is better ?

The second was a superior game in pretty much all categories, and yet i too enjoyed the first one more.

i bought uncharted 1 for my bro but he never played it. I decided to beat the game but i really didnt like it. I give it a 7 because i know its good game but i didnt enjoy the story, shooting was kinda fun, and platforming annoyed me. Jumping didnt work well when i played it. I would press to jump one way and sometimes it'll go the other way. I jump and jump too short for no reason. I press to jump and it doesnt jump at all. I dunno but i didnt like it and im just not gonna attempt other uncharted games.

It's because Elena is a much better character than Chloe.

I wouldn't be surprised. I never had the first game, but the second is rather mediocre in many ways. It's pacing is overly controlling, the platforming is as linear as is humanly possible (to the point of complete irrelevancy), and the gunplay is simple and uninspiring. Overall a rather mediocre game. It also had a really bad story, but the characters were likable at least if not extremely cliched.

I dont know how anyone can like the original better. Uncharted 2 makes it look like a medicore game in comparison. Besides the actual story, Uncharted 2 improved everything that the first game did wrong.

In some ways. Drake's Fortune had a strange "charm" or feel to it that was lost in the second. And UC2 is really overrated, while Drake's Fortune doesn't get enough credit.
