some take ages... some others u would get like 60% of em on a normal playthrough the game (eg: Uncharted)

Most? Don't they all require that you get all other trophies? (not counting DLC trophies, of course) And yeah, they seem pretty impossible. I know I'll never get one... Some are definitely easier than others though. inFamous, for instance, seems like it would be really easy. You'll get most trophies just by playing through the game as both good and evil. Beyond that, it's mostly a matter of taking the time to find all the blast shards (which I'm not willing to do).
they're not really that hard, theyre just very time consuming, for some games its fun but for some games it gets boring, thats why I only try to get platinum for the games worth replaying
Most plats are just annoying and stupid to get. Theres also like that one trophy that always has to screw me over. I have 3 plats but for quite a few of my other games I have around 80%. There is always that one song in RB2 that I can't beat on expert, that one blast shard that got away, that one badge in Killzone 2(air assault, only have 3), and some other games that I got really close but then got bored of trying.
Yeah I do, it's not as great as you think it is. I personally like gold trophies better anyway:lol: I get more excited getting a gold trophy than a platinum one.
The only platinum I have is InFamous. I almost platinum'd a few more, but they all have those dumb multiplayer trophies you have to get. I'm not wasting enough time on Chronicles of Riddick multiplayer to get 10,000 kills. It just aint happening. I really wish they'd seperate the multiplayer trophies from the campaign trophies, because some people don't play online. Some people don't even have the internet ( i think?). If they did that I'd have about 6 platinums right now.
They arent that hard to achieve. Some are kind of time consuming but are too challenging. Fallout 3 is a good example of that. All the trophies just require you to complete all the quests and find some of the hidden stuff, which I would do whether the games had trophies or not.
I've got 2. Uncharted and Dead Space. Question for those who got the RE5 one. Do you need to get the trophies for versus to get a plat or can you just get the single player trophies?
It isn't really hard, it just takes time and dedication... I haven't got one yet because I'm really enjoying games and having fun and don't wanna ruin it by getting frustrated by trophies.
Even I have a platinum now, but yes it's for Prince Of Persia. That one's relatively easy & quick to achieve, & it's a fun game too imo so it's not much of a chore to get it.
they're not that hard, just play the game through a few times rather than just once, and you'll have a much better chance of getting them; btw, I have 3 :P
It seems to me that people who have them have a bunch, and those who don't well... have none. Very few people on my friends list or around the various forums tend to have 1 or 2, usually its like 5 or more.
They are equivalent of getting all achievements in a 360 game basically, where I had 5 games on the 360 in that case. Nothing has caught my attention enough yet that has trophy support. MGS4 or Saints Row 2 would have been a platinum for me easily by now if they were supported.
