does anyone else have this problem?

My USB ports on my 1st and 2nd PS3 didnt work. they worked at first but then they started working less often then stopped. Im on my third PS3 and the USB ports are starting to not work sometimes. Could this be caused by dust? does anyone know of any way of fixing this? because I dont want to have to send it away again.

on my other PS3's nothing worked not the controller PS2 keyboard or PS2 headset (both from logitech) and right know on my third PS3 they only work sometimes. always after I restart it and my headset works all the time except on one USB port. one of my controllers wouldnt charge with that port either. thats the only port I have used my keyboard on and it works. I have tried my controller on all of my ports and it didnt work once even after restarting but it worked later. I cant figure out how this is happening. theres almost no way I got 3 PS3's with the same problem. so it must be either my keyboard somehow ruining all my USB ports even though i never used it on all of them. my headset or dust. I have tried my keyboard on a friends PS3 so I can pretty much rule that out.

when i first played my ps3 the 1st usb port wouldn't read anything (controller, memory stick), but it works fine now, it could have been the update that fixed it but who knows, in your case i hope it's only temporary, i say wait it out until it doesn't get better or worsens
