I wanna get it. If you do any kind of messaging or play games like Wheel of Fortune than why not. I would still look for a deal though.

are you talking about the keyboard that plugs into the controller. It makes the controller almost look like a jaguar controller

I dont know if it's worth the full price but it's definetly more comfortable to me than to use onscreen keyboard and it save alot of time when you want to message a friend. If you can get it for cheaper i definetly reccomend it

I got the Sony keypad for $50. It was worth it since I type a lot, and using it is much faster than typing with the controller...

well if i had the money right now i would buy this

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/3848&cl=US,EN

ultra expensive, but worth every dollar if you have a home theater pc. it gets annoying when you have to stand up to change videos and type urls, oh and its compatible with the ps3 out of the box. you don´t need a dongle to connect it to the ps3!

How's the weight when you attach it to the DS3? Does it feel too top heavy?

Also how is the touchpad sensitivity, are you just basically gliding your finger over the keyboard to move the pointer?

I did for a couple of weeks but even to this day I cannot get used to it. I got an iPhone and for some reason I'm all speedy at that but the wireless keypad? I don't know. It just feels awkward to use sometimes.

i have the Logitech Mediaboard Pro for PS3, and I gotta say i love it. the best part is that it has an automatic shut-off if you leave it on by accident. Definitely the best route to go if you're looking for a typing device for this system.

I wanted to gett it but I thought it was going to be like $20, $50 is way too much. Does the key pad suck the battery of the controller???

Not only do I have it ( the one that connects to your controller ) I use it quite often. I think its worth it, considering all the messages I get.

As a matter of fact, both Best Buy and Circuit City placed it on sale at least twice last year, to $59.99. Seeing as one of those stores is now closed, keep checking the Sunday Best Buy Ads, they drop it at random times.

Its good if you text alot of people, but i recommend spending extra money and getting a Logitech Bluetooth keybaord ( or spend less and get a USB Keyboard.) The Sony pad is alright though

Heh. My friend has one of those. He seems to like it. For $50, I don't see myself ever getting it though.

I'd rather spend $15 for a USB keyboard instead of $50 for some glorified "bottom half of a Blackberry" on my controller..

I have it and I like it. I find that I use Home and the web browser much more now because it is much easier to type. I also have a keyboard but I find it's less of a hassle to clip on the keypad on the top of the controller.
